KATACARA, JAKARTA– Pandemi Covid-19 semakin meningkat, pandemi yang berkepanjangan telah menyebabkan daya ekonomi masyarakat melemah, namun di sisi lain kebutuhan hidup terus meningkat. Dampak pandemi Covid-19 yang berkepanjangan akhirnya membuat sejumlah sektor ekonomi lumpuh, bahkan hanya sebatas untuk memenuhi kebutuhan hidup tanpa memikirkan modal kembali, salah satu dampak dirasakan pelaku Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) seperti pelaku usaha mie ayam.

Tarjono (45), sosok pedagang mie ayam yang saat ditemui di rumah kecilnya berlokasi di Gang Waru, Kebagusan, Pasar Minggu, Jakarta Selatan pada (Kamis kemarin, 7/1/2021) mengatakan, “Pandemi Covid-19 yang berkepanjangan ini telah menurunkan omset dagangan, ditambah musibah gerobak saya yang terbakar kala berdagang, menjadikan kerugian berkali lipat yang saya alami pada saat ini. Belum lagi untuk biaya sekolah kedua anak saya, yang harus saya penuhi sebagai tulang punggung keluarga. Sepuluh tahun berjualan mie ayam, baru kali ini begitu berat cobaan ekonomi bagi saya. Banyaknya masyarakat yang mengalami pemutusan hubungan kerja (PHK) dan pengangguran menyebabkan daya beli masyarakat juga berkurang.”

Sebelum adanya pandemi Covid-19 ini, saya menjual mie ayam bisa sampai 80 mangkok dalam sehari, dengan adanya pandemi ini keuntungan yang saya peroleh hanya cukup untuk bertahan hidup atau memenuhi kebutuhan sehari-hari”.
