KATACARA, MAKASSAR– Universitas Hasanuddin telah melakukan seleksi penerimaan mahasiswa baru untuk program profesi, spesialis magister, dan doktor. Seleksi gelombang ketiga telah berlangsung lancar, dan hasilnya akan segera diumumkan pada pukul 22.00 Wita, Selasa (19/1). Para pendaftar dapat memeriksa hasilnya melalui akun pendaftaran masing-masing secara online di portal http://regpmb.unhas.ac.id.

Wakil Rektor Bidang Akademik, Prof. Dr. Ir. Muh. Restu, MP., menjelaskan pelaksanaan penerimaan mahasiswa baru jenjang profesi, spesialis, magister, dan doktor dilaksanakan secara bertahap hingga tiga gelombang. Hal ini untuk menyesuaikan karakteristik calon mahasiswa yang beragam dengan wilayah yang berbeda pula.

Jumlah peminat pada Semester Akhir Tahun Akademik 2020/2021 meningkat secara signifikan dibandingkan semester sebelumnya. Terdapat 3.219 pendaftar untuk seluruh program. Peningkatan ini dipengaruhi oleh waktu seleksi yang lebih panjang dengan menerapkan sistem online.

“Tiga gelombang ini hanya berfokus pada penyelenggaraan ujian. Untuk proses pendaftarannya sama, sejak bulan Juli lalu. Hanya waktu pelaksanaan ujian yang diselenggarakan bertahap. Untuk program studi juga menyesuaikan terhadap kuota, ini pula yang menjadi dasar penerimaan mahasiswa baru,” jelas Prof. Restu.

Selama pandemi, mekanisme pendaftaran, penyeleksian hingga pengumuman hasil seleksi dilakukan sepenuhnya secara online. Dengan metode ini, Prof Restu menyebutkan mahasiswa merasa terbantu.

“Hasil monitoring kami menunjukkan proses pelaksanaan ujian yang bertahap, nampaknya lebih efektif dan efisien. Mahasiswa juga lebih memiliki peluang untuk dapat mengikuti tahapan,” kata Prof. Restu.

Jika calon mahasiswa baru diterima, mereka harus melakukan registrasi ulang, membayar UKT, dan menjalani proses administrasi lainnya. Prof Restu berpesan, agar mahasiswa baru jenjang profesi, spesialis, magister dan doktor memahami dengan baik peraturan akademik sebagai acuan dalam proses pembelajaran. Hal ini penting demi memastikan mahasiswa dapat menyelesaikan pendidikan tepat waktu.

Mahasiswa baru program profesi, spesialis, magister, dan doktor yang diterima berjumlah 1.322 orang, dengan rincian:

  2. Jenjang Magister : 393 Orang
  3. Spesialis : 238 Orang
  4. Sub Spesialis : 12 Orang
  5. Profesi Apotekr : 120 Orang
  6. Profesi Insinyur : 466 Orang
