Pembebasan Sementara UKT Bagi Mahasiswa Unhas Terdampak Bencana Sulbar

KATACARA, MAKASSAR–Universitas Hasanuddin memberikan bantuan Pembebasan Sementara Pembayaran Uang Kuliah Tunggal (UKT) bagi mahasiswa terdampak bencana gempa bumi yang terjadi di Sulawesi Barat pada 14 dan 15 Januari 2021. Bantuan pembebasan sementara ini diberikan untuk mahasiswa pada jenjang Program Sarjana, Profesi Dokter, Dokter Gigi, Dokter Hewan, Ners, dan Fisioterapi.

Kebijakan ini tertuang dalam Surat Keputusan Nomor 266/UN4.1/KEP/2021 tertanggal 18 Januari 2021. Salah satu pertimbangan kebijakan ini adalah peristiwa bencana gempa bumi yang terjadi di Sulawesi Barat menyebabkan menurunnya kemampuan ekonomi dari orang tua mahasiswa atau pihak lain yang membiayai studi mahasiswa yang terdampak langsung bencana tersebut.

Untuk memperoleh pembebasan sementara pembayaran UKT, mahasiswa pada jenjang program yang disebutkan dalam keputusan ini (yaitu Program Sarjana, Profesi Dokter, Dokter Gigi, Dokter Hewan, Ners, dan Fisioterapi) diminta untuk membuat surat permohonan yang ditujukan kepada Rektor, u.p. Dekan Fakultas.

Mahasiswa diminta untuk menyertakan dua dokumen. Pertama, Surat Keterangan dari Lurah atau Kepala Desa yang menyatakan bahwa benar mahasiswa yang bersangkutan terdampak langsung dari bencana alam gempa bumi di Sulawesi Barat. Kedua, Surat Pernyataan dari orang tua atau pihak lain yang membiayai bahwa benar akibat bencana alam ini menyebabkan kerusakan harta benda dan kehilangan sumber mata pencaharian.

Selain kedua dokumen tersebut, mahasiswa juga diminta menyertakan foto rumah sebelum bencana (jika ada) dan foto rumah setelah bencana.

Mekanisme Pengajuan

Mahasiswa yang mengajukan pembebasan sementara pembayaran UKT ini diminta untuk mengakses laman https://regmhs.unhas.ac.id untuk memproses pengajuan secara daring. Pengajuan dapat dilakukan sebelum tanggal 28 Januari 2021.

Selanjutnya, tim terpadu bidang keuangan akan melakukan verifikasi atas permohonan mahasiswa dan memberikan rekomendasi apakah menerima atau menolak. Pembebasan sementara pembayaran UKT kepada mahasiswa yang disetujui akan disampaikan melalui Surat Keputusan Rektor paling lambat 3 (tiga) hari sebelum masa pembayaran UKT berakhir.

Kebijakan pembebasan sementara UKT kepada mahasiswa yang terdampak bencana alam gempa bumi di Sulawesi Barat ini hanya berlaku untuk Semester Akhir Tahun Akademik 2020/2021. Masa pembayaran UKT untuk semester ini dijadwalkan berakhir pada tanggal 5 Februari 2021.(*/ir)
