Tiada Henti Barzah DD Terus Bantu Layani Jenazah Covid-19 Hingga Pemakaman

KATACARA, DEPOK– Melonjaknya angka kasus Covid-19 di Depok, berimbas pula pada meningkatnya kasus kematian akibat Covid-19 di Depok. Hal tersebut juga menjadikan permintaan pemulasaraan dan pemakaman jenazah Covid-19 kepada tim Badan Pemulasaraan Jenazah (BARZAH) Dompet Dhuafa meningkat.

Pada Minggu (11/7/2021) malam, tim Barzah mendapat permintaan untuk menangani jenazah seorang janda berusia 82 tahun yang berstatus Covid-19. Menurut pihak keluarga yang menghubungi, almarhumah meninggal karena memang sudah lanjut usia dengan status positif Covid-19 saat melakukan isolasi mandiri di kediamannya di Kelurahan Bojong Gede, Bogor, Jawa Barat.

Irawan selaku tim Barzah yang melakukan tugas saat itu menceritakan, akhir-akhir ini memang permintaan untuk pemulasaraan jenazah menjadi banyak. Tidak hanya di Barzah saja melainkan ambulans-ambulans lainnya juga padat menangani kasus-kasus Covid-19.

“Kami dihubungi melalui Call Center Barzah oleh salah satu keluarga dari almarhumah untuk meminta layanan pengantaran jenazah yang berstatus Covid-19. Awalnya keluarga meminta untuk pengantaran di luar kota yaitu di Kebumen. Namun tim Barzah menyampaikan bahwa saat ini sedang fokus melayani di Jabodetabek. Akhirnya keluarga minta rekomendasi ke ambulans lain. Kami beri kontak lain, kemudian pihak keluarga menghubungi kami kembali bahwa ambulans lain semuanya penuh,” terang Irawan.

Setelah itu, lanjut Irawan, berdasarkan diskusi dengan pihak keluarga dan satgas Covid-19 setempat, kesepakatannya adalah jenazah dimakamkan esok harinya, Senin (12/7/2021) pagi, di TPU (Taman Pemakaman Umum) Pasir Putih Sawangan sebagai TPU khusus jenazah kasus Covid-19 yang baru saja dibuka awal bulan ini.

“Karena kasus meninggal dengan status Covid-19 adalah hal baru di kawasan situ, jadi pihak keluarga, satgas Covid-19 setempat, dan masyarakat menyerahkan proses sepenuhnya kepada tim Barzah,” imbuhnya.

Salah satu pihak keluarga almarhum, Yusef mengatakan, pihaknya menyerahkan dan percaya sepenuhnya kepada tim Barzah Dompet Dhuafa. Yusef juga menyampaikan permohonan doa dari masyarakat untuk almarhumah agar senantiasa ditempatkan di sisi terbaik-Nya. Menurut Yusef, almarhumah adalah orang yang baik dan penyayang keluarga.

“Alhamdulillah semuanya berjalan baik dan lancar, tim pun kembali pada siang harinya dengan keadaan baik seluruhnya,” tutup Irawan.
