Dua tahun lalu, Masamba, kabupaten Luwu Utara kembali meraih penghargaan di sektor pendidikan sebagai daerah dengan komitmen terbaik dalam pelaksanaan program penjaminan mutu pendidikan di Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan.

Masamba masuk 10 besar sebagai daerah dengan komitmen yang kuat dalam program penjaminan mutu pendidikan

Perlu diketahui, LPMP adalah sebuah lembaga penjamin mutu pendidikan yang diberi tugas mengajak seluruh stakeholder terkait untuk memberikan perhatian kepada peningkatan kualitas mutu pendidikan melalui penjaminan. Lembaga ini berkomitmen memberikan penghargaan daerah terbaik di sektor pendidikan.

Tak hanya sektor pendidikan. Masamba juga membangun fasilitas umum terbilang pesat. Seperti jalan menuju Seko yang berlumpur dan parah dilewati. Namun, Kerja keras Bupati Luwu Utara, Indah Putri Indriani bersama Dinas Pekerjaan Umum dan Penataan Ruang (PUPR) membuahkan hasil.

Jalan demi jalan diperbaiki. Seperti jalan menuju Seko. Dulu, warga harus menempuh perjalanan darat hingga 3 malam lamanya untuk ke ibu kota Kabupaten, kini tinggal 6 jam.

Bahkan jalan Seko memiliki biaya transportasi termahal. Dari halaman kompas.com, mengatakan ojek termahal di Indonesia mencapai harga Rp 700.000 untuk melintasi jalan berlumpur menuju Kecamatan Seko, Kabupaten Luwu Utara, Sulawesi Selatan.

Setelah 74 tahun Indonesia merdeka, pemerintah baru membuat akses dan mengaspal jalan menuju Kecamatan Seko, Kabupaten Luwu Utara, Sulawesi Selatan.

Akhirnya, mimpi masyarakat Seko pun tercapai sehingga mereka bisa bepergian ke Kota Kabupaten Luwu Utara dengan mudah. Sektor pendidikan dan perekonomian dapat berjalan lancar hingga pelosok-pelosok Luwu Utara.
