KATACARA, MAKASSAR– Fakultas Ilmu Budaya (FIB) Universitas Hasanuddin menyelenggarakan acara puncak Dies Natalis ke-60 pada Jum’at (11/12). Dies Natalis tahun ini mengangkat tema “Cultural Perspective in Post-Covid Era”. Kegiatan berlangsung mulai pukul 09.00 Wita di Aula Prof Matuladda, FIB Unhas, Kampus Tamalanrea, Makassar. Metode acara secara luring terbatas dengan penerapan protokol Covid-19 yang ketat.

Hadir dalam kegiatan Rektor Unhas (Prof. Dr. Dwia Aries Tina Pulubuhu, MA), Dekan FIB Unhas (Prof. Dr. Akin Duli, MA) beserta jajaran serta para Ketua Prodi FIB Unhas.

Ketua Panitia Dr. Abidin Pammu, Dipl.TESOL., MA., menyampaikan ucapan terima kasih kepada seluruh pihak yang telah terlibat dalam penyelenggaraan Dies Natalis ke-60 FIB Unhas. Usia 60 tahun merupakan bentuk refleksi bagi FIB dalam upaya peningkatan kualitas dan mutu layanan kepada masyarakat.

“Setiap tahun perlu dilakukan upaya refleksi untuk dijadikan pembelajaran kedepan. Seperti yang diketahui bersama bahwa refleksi ini merangkum tiga dimensi waktu yakni masa lalu, masa kini dan masa depan. Masa lalu merupakan sejarah, agar ada perubahan pada masa kini. Untuk masa depan, kita konstruksikan dan konsep dengan baik dengan tidak larut pada masa lalu,” jelas Abidin.

Pada kesempatan yang sama, Rektor Unhas Prof. Dr. Dwia Aries Tina Pulubuhu, MA., menyampaikan kebanggaan atas berbagai capaian FIB Unhas diusia 60 tahun. FIB merupakan salah satu fakultas yang memiliki komitmen memperkuat capaian target kinerja Unhas dan berkontribusi nyata pada bangsa dan negara.

“Banyak sekali yang diharapkan, dan faktanya FIB menunjukkan upaya itu melalui alumni dan proses tridarma. Peran multisektor FIB kami harapkan lebih diperkuat. Selain itu, dapat menghadirkan revolusi mental yang memenuhi kebutuhan jaman, dimana budaya diharapkan menjembatani agar tidak terjadi gap culture,” kata Prof Dwia.
