KATACARA, POLMAN–Rektor Universitas Al Asyariah Mandar (Unasman) Polman, Dr. Chuduriah Sahabuddin, M.Si, mengunjungi korban tanah longsor dan gempa bumi Sulbar, Ahad (17/1/2021) di Tinambung Polman.

Pada kunjungan tersebut doktor sosiologi PPs-UNM ini mendatangi dan menyerahkan bantuan kepada korban yang mengungsi di lokasi aman seperti sekolah dan tenda di alam terbuka.

Kepada para pengungsi korban bencana itu juga diserahkan masker agar tetap memperhatikan protokol kesehatan.

Suasana di lokasi bencana menyedihkan, sejumlah rumah penduduk hancur dan roboh, selain itu kebutuhan pokok makan dan minum sangat diharapkan para pengungsi.

Unasman adalah kampus yang kehadirannya menjadi syarat utama pembentukan Provinsi Sulawesi Barat, pada 5 Oktober 2004.

Saat ini Unasman Polman membina 6 Fakultas dan 12 Prodi. Prodi tersebut yakni Agribisnis, Agroteknologi, Peternakan, Hukum Ekonomi Syariah.

Selain itu ada Prodi Ilmu Komunikasi, Ilmu pemerintahan, Kesehatan Masyarakat, Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia.

Termasuk Pendidikan Matematika, Pendidikan pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan, Sistem Informasi dan Teknik Informatika.
