Pertamina Foundation Luncurkan Lomba Inovasi Energi Berbasis Technopreneur

KATACARA, JAKARTA, ― Pertamina Foundation kembali luncurkan program PFseries, kali ini program PFsains 2021 yang merupakan ajang kompetisi implementasi karya hasil penelitian terkait inovasi energi baru dan terbarukan.

Koeshartanto, Ketua Dewan Pembina Pertamina Foundation membuka dengan menyampaikan harapan besarnya terhadap program ini.

“Saya percaya bahwa program-program seperti ini bisa berhasil dan diikuti dengan antusiasme yang tinggi. Apabila trennya semakin besar, kita menuju pada titik yang kita harapkan bersama. Dalam perjalanan menuju revolusi industri 5.0, kami yakin tidak akan bisa dihindarkan dari peran strategis energi dan generasi muda dalam mengawal dan mengembangkannya,” ujar Koeshartanto, Kamis (8/4).

Setelah sukses di tahun 2020, tahun ini kompetisi PFsains kembali digelar dengan mengusung tema “Inovasi Energi Berbasis Technopreneur”.

Pertamina Foundation mengundang masyarakat luas, baik mahasiswa, akademisi, pakar dan praktisi, serta pengabdi masyarakat untuk melakukan implementasi dari penelitian, temuan baru, dan praktik-praktik inovasi teknologi pengembangan EBT.

Cerita sukses dari perjalanan PFsains 2020 datang dari penerapan 3 proyek EBT terbaik dari peserta yang telah diimplementasikan bersama Pertamina Foundation. Proyek tersebut di antaranya: Smartfocs Power pembangkit listrik bagi masyarakat pesisir, Microbial Desalination Cell penghasil air bersih di Nusa Tenggara Timur, dan Smart Generator dengan sistem hybrid. Ketiganya akan menjadi barometer di tahun 2021 dengan temuan-temuan yang lebih implementatif dan bermanfaat bagi masyarakat.

Presiden Direktur Pertamina Foundation Agus Mashud S. Asngari, mengatakan PFsains 2021 menjadi bentuk komitmen Pertamina dalam mendukung kebijakan pemerintah di bidang energi.

“Program PFsains yang menjadi bagian dari PFseries merupakan ajang kompetisi kreativitas EBT. Diharapkan melalui berlangsungnya program ini dapat menggerakkan partisipasi masyarakat dan dunia usaha dalam pengembangan EBT menuju kemandirian energi nasional,” ungkap Agus

Dukungan juga disampaikan langsung oleh Arya Dwi Paramitha selaku VP CSR PT Pertamina (Persero).

“PT Pertamina (Persero) mendukung upaya pemerintah dalam mewujudkan pembangunan berkelanjutan melalui program-program CSR. Sejalan dengan hal tersebut, kami berterima kasih kepada Pertamina Foundation karena program PFsains juga berpotensi mendorong dan mewujudkan salah satu program kami, Desa Berdikari. Desa yang memiliki kemampuan untuk mengelola energi alternatif secara mandiri,” terang Arya.

Dengan demikian, PFsains mampu menjadi langkah percepatan tercapainya target penggunaan energi baru terbarukan Indonesia pada tahun 2025.

“Pemerintah sedang menargetkan penggunaan energi baru terbarukan mencapai 23% pada tahun 2025. Untuk itu diperlukan percepatan, karena pada saat ini capaiannya baru sekitar 11,20%. Langkah ini diperlukan sebagai masa transisi energi sehingga kita tidak bergantung pada energi fosil,” kata Ani Wiyanti selaku Ditjen EBTKE Kementerian ESDM.

Pendaftaran program dibuka pada tanggal 15 April 2021 hingga 22 Mei 2021

Seleksi ketat akan terjadi sejak awal. Setelah pendaftaran secara online, peserta dihadapkan pada penilaian proposal beserta kelengkapannya. Lolos tahap ini, peserta diminta membuat prototipe dari karya temuannya. Karya prototipe beserta video dan paper presentasi menjadi materi wajib untuk seleksi wawancara.

Dalam tahap wawancara, peserta akan berhadapan dengan juri independen berlatar praktisi energi, pakar profesional, akademisi yang kuat dalam konsep serta juri profesional lain dari bidang terkait yang diharapkan nantinya ditemukan karya terbaik yang siap diimplementasikan.

Menjelang babak final, disiapkan paket Webinar Series yang salah satunya temanya mengangkat isu energi dan teknologi masa depan.

Persentase bobot lebih tinggi diberikan pada penilaian tingkat kebaruan penelitian (novelty), kelayakan (feasibility) serta keberlanjutan (sustainability)

Tahun ini total hadiah dan bantuan implementasi yang diberikan sebesar Rp900.000.000. Hadiah ini termasuk apresiasi Rp2.500.000 untuk 20 peserta terbaik dan Rp10.000.000 untuk 10 peserta terbaik. Dari 10 peserta terbaik, akan dipilih 3 peserta untuk mendapat bantuan implementasi proyek.

Berlangsungnya program ini akan menggandeng dan bekerja sama dengan Universitas Pertamina dan Research & Technology Center (RTC) Pertamina. Program juga telah mendapat dukungan dari berbagai praktisi, lembaga, serta Kementerian.
