KATACARA, JAKARTA – Di tengah gelombang pandemi, sektor UMKM masih mampu penunjukkan resiliensi. Survey Bank Indonesia pada Maret 2021, menemukan 27,6% UMKM menunjukan peningkatan penjualan dan 72,4% lainnya penjualan stabil. Resepnya, strategi pemasaran digital.

Ekonomi digital menjadi hal penting dalam pembangunan ekonomi yang berkelanjutan di wilayah ASEAN. Dalam E-Conomy SEA 2019 Report yang dirilis Google, Temasek, Bain & Company disebutkan bahwa nilai sektor e-commerce di ASEAN diperkirakan akan terus tumbuh hingga mencapai US$300 miliar pada 2025.

“Oleh karena itu, kami merancang ide bisnis ‘go digital’ untuk UMKM di ASEAN berupa pembuatan website untuk memasarkan kerajinan tangan masyarakat ASEAN ke seluruh dunia,” ungkap Keista Puti Yesandi, mahasiswa program studi Hubungan Internasional Universitas Pertamina dalam wawancara daring, Jumat (30/7).

Ide bisnis tersebut, dipresentasikan oleh Keista dan tim pada akhir masa pertukaran pelajarnya di Malaysia Multimedia University (MMU), 17 Juli 2021. Berkat inovasinya, Keista dan tim meraih juara pertama pada kategori Web/Mobile App for Business, dan juara tiga pada kategori Business Idea. “Ajang ini dilaksanakan setiap tahun oleh MMU. Tahun ini, temanya Edutourism-Technopreneurship for Tomorrow. Dewan jurinya adalah para dosen dari MMU dan kampus mitra MMU di ASEAN,” pungkas Keista.

Melalui inovasi ini, Keista dan tim berharap bisa membantu meningkatkan pendapatan para pengrajin di wilayah ASEAN. Mengingat, penjualan digital untuk cendera mata khas negara ASEAN masih jarang dijumpai.

“Dalam laporan, kami memproyeksikan keuntungan yang didapat berkisar 15 persen bagi masing-masing UMKM. Selain itu, penjualan digital ini juga akan menstimulus perubahan pola bisnis dan perilaku belanja konsumen di bidang kerajinan tangan dari luring ke daring,” lanjut mahasiswa angkatan 2018 tersebut.

Di Universitas Pertamina, mahasiswa didorong untuk mengembangkan pola pikir kewirausahaan melalui berbagai kegiatan ko-kurikuler maupun ekstrakurikuler. Di tahun ke-4 misalnya, mahasiswa akan memperoleh mata kuliah wajib Capstone Design dengan proyek akhir berupa cetak biru inovasi di bidang keilmuannya masing-masing. Ada juga program tahunan “Inkubasi Bisnis” yang mengembangkan start-up besutan mahasiswa dan alumni di bawah pembinaan Career and Development Center (CDC).

Universitas Pertamina juga aktif melaksanakan program pertukaran pelajar dengan 38 institusi pendidikan tinggi terbaik di luar negeri. “Sebanyak 73 mahasiswa Universitas Pertamina telah mengikuti pembelajaran di kampus mitra yang tersebar di berbagai belahan dunia. Sebaliknya, sejumlah 45 mahasiswa asing juga telah merasakan berkuliah di kampus kami. Program pertukaran pelajar semacam ini, rutin kami lakukan setiap semester untuk meningkatkan kompetensi lulusan,” ujar Prof. Dr. Ir. Wawan Gunawan A. Kadir, MS., Wakil Rektor Bidang Penelitian, Pengembangan dan Kerjasama Universitas Pertamina.
