KATACARA, JAKARTA – Semangat Humanesia yang bergulir di bulan kemanusiaan setiap akhir tahun, turut diisi dengan aksi penggalangan 1.000 kantong Donor Darah yang diinisiasi oleh Dompet Dhuafa Voulenteer (DDV) dengan mengajak masyarakat, organisasi maupun komunitas. Bekerjasama dengan Palang Merah Indonesia (PMI), hingga Kamis (16/12/2020), sudah terkumpul 1.433 kantong darah dari para pendonor. Gerakan 1.000 Kantong Darah berlangsung sejak 15 Oktober dan akan berakhir di 24 Desember 2020 sebagai rangkaian aksi kebaikan di penghujung 2020.

“Alhamdulillah sudah melebihi target dan Animo masyarakat yang semakin tinggi setiap harinya untuk mendonorkan darah, terutama di masa pademi saat ini. Insyaa Allah jumlah kantong darah akan terus bertambah. Karena masih ada beberapa titik lokasi lagi dan semoga bisa melampai 1.700 kantong darah dari target 1.000 yang saat ini sudah terkumpul 1.433 kantong,” ujar Endang Purwanti, selaku Koordinator DDV Nasional.

Endang Purwanti menambahkan, “Gerakan 1.000 Kantong Darah bermaksud untuk membantu masyarakat dalam memenuhi kebutuhan akan darah. Seperti yang kita ketahui, di tengah pandemi Covid-19 stok darah berkurang. Hal tersebut dipengaruhi oleh jumlah pendonor yang berkurang. Sehingga masyarakat yang membutuhkan tranfusi darah agak sulit untuk mendapatkannya”.

Hal tersebut juga diungkapkan oleh Wali Kota Jakarta Selatan, Marullah Matali mengajak masyarakat mendonorkan darah untuk membantu stok darah di Palang Merah Indonesia (PMI) yang selama masa pandemi Covid-19 mengalami penurunan.

Pada penerapan Gerakan 1.000 Kantong Darah, DDV bersama PMI menerapkan protokol kesehatan. Sehingga masyarakat tidak perlu khawatir dalam mendonorkan darahnya. Harapannya, dengan adanya kegiatan tersebut, kebutuhan akan darah tercukupi di berbagai kota Indonesia.

“Tidak hanya kegiatan Gerakan 1.000 Kantong Darah, sejumlah relawan yang tergabung di DDV juga melakukan berbagai aktivitas gerakan kebaikan di penghujung tahun. Seperti halnya aksi respon bencana bersama tim Disaster Management Center Dompet Dhuafa dan kepedulian terhadap lingkungan sekitar seperti pembagian sembako untuk masyarakat terdampak, serta masih banyak lagi. Sehingga kegiatan positif di tengah pandemi Covid-19 dapat terus menggugah masyarakat untuk menebar kebaikan #bersamauntuksesama,” tutup Endang Purwanti.
