KATACARA, Jakarta– Pandemi Covid-19 masih menjadi salah satu permasalahan yang belum kunjung usai di Indonesia dan beberapa negara lainnya. Namun, roda kehidupan masih tetap harus berjalan, tak terkecuali sektor pendidikan, karena kemajuan suatu bangsa juga dipengaruhi oleh kualitas dan kecerdasan generasi penerus. Oleh karena itu, sistem pembelajaran saat ini sudah berubah dari bertatap muka langsung menjadi serba daring dan jarak jauh untuk mencegah penyebaran virus Covid-19.

Pertamina Foundation turut berpartisipasi aktif dalam upaya memperlancar kegiatan pembelajaran jarak jauh dengan memberikan fasilitas laptop ke beberapa sekolah khususnya sekolah dasar yang masih kekurangan laptop penunjang pembelajaran.

“Kami sangat concern dengan kelancaran pendidikan yang dienyam para pelajar penerus kita. Dengan demikian, Pertamina Foundation tidak hanya memberikan beasiswa dan program pengembangan karakter bagi mahasiswa, tetapi kami juga berupaya menyediakan fasilitas penunjang seperti laptop bagi sekolah-sekolah dasar khususnya di daerah luar Jawa yang masih kekurangan fasilitas pembelajaran,” ujar Agus Mashud S. Asngari selaku Presiden Direktur Pertamina Foundation.

Bantuan 50 laptop dari Program PFbangkit tersebut tersebar di berbagai Provinsi yang bertujuan meningkatkan kembali semangat hidup dan kesejahteraan masyarakat Indonesia. Bantuan program laptop dilakukan kerja sama dengan Pertamina Foundation Scholars (PFS) Batch 6 dan 7 yang tergabung dalam organisasi Sobat Bumi Indonesia (Sobi). Program Pembelajaran Jarak Jauh dengan bantuan laptop termasuk salah satu rangkaian Aksi Sobat Bumi dalam gelar acara “Pendampingan Pembelajaran Jarak Jauh” yang diadakan oleh para Sobi sejak 28 Oktober 2020 lalu. Meskipun kegiatan dilakukan di tengah pandemi, kondisi tersebut tidak memadamkan semangat mereka untuk tetap menjalankan aksi sosial di tengah masyarakat. Mereka juga melakukan kunjungan ke beberapa kelompok siswa sekolah dasar yang memerlukan bantuan pengajaran sekaligus memberikan edukasi protokol Covid-19.

Bantuan 50 laptop disebarkan ke 32 sekolah-sekolah dasar yang masih kekurangan fasilitas penunjang meliputi SDN 2 Amban, SD Inpres 21 Sowi IV Manokwari, SDN VIM II Kota Raja, SDN Inpres 5.81 Perumnas I Waena, SD Muhammadiyah 2 Kupang, SD Inpres Lasiana, SDN Maman, SDN Tatede Dalam, SD Inpres Kasi, SLB Al-Alaq, SDN 006 Balikpapan Timur, SDN 016 Balikpapan Utara, SDN Prigi I, SDN Penambangan 3, SDN Panyuran 2, dan masih banyak sekolah dasar lainnya.

Semoga para siswa dapat menjadi lebih semangat dan terpacu untuk terus belajar dengan adanya bantuan fasilitas ini,” ujar Purwandi selaku Kepala Sekolah SDN I Prigi, Jawa Tengah.

Seluruh rangkaian kegiatan ini didukung dan dibiayai oleh CSR PT Pertamina (Persero) sehingga bisa berjalan dengan lancar.
