KATACARA, MAKASSAR– Forum Perguruan Tinggi untuk Desa (Forum Pertides) menggelar rapat koordinasi guna membahas periode kepengurusan dan beberapa agenda lainnya. Rapat berlangsung pukul 14.30 Wita secara virtual melalui aplikasi zoom meeting, Senin (28/12).

Forum Pertides merupakan suatu forum yang diselenggarakan Kementerian Desa, Pembangunan Daerah Tertinggal dan Transmigrasi yang disahkan dengan Keputusan Menteri Nomor 51 Tahun 2016 pada 26 Juli 2016.

Pada awalnya Forum Pertides beranggotakan 11 perguruan tinggi, dan jumlahnya terus meningkat. Universitas Hasanuddin merupakan salah kampus yang aktif. Dalam struktur organisasi Forum Pertides, Rektor Unhas Prof. Dr. Dwia Aries Tina Pulubuhu, MA memperoleh kepercayaan sebagai Sekretaris.

Forum ini didirikan untuk mempercepat pencapaian kemandirian dan meningkatkan kualitas pembangunan desa serta menyelesaikan permasalahan-permasalahan di desa.

Rapat dibuka secara resmi oleh Ketua Forum Pertides Prof. Ir. Panut Mulyono, M.Eng., D.Eng., IPU., ASEAN Eng. Rapat ini bertujuan membahas langkah-langkah mengoptimalkan peran dan fungsi Perguruan Tinggi, agar sesuai dengan tujuan hadirnya Forum. Menurutnya, tugas Forum Pertides perlu mendapatkan arahan dan dukungan dari Kementerian Desa dan pihak lain yang terlibat.

Dalam rapat ini dibahas beberapa agenda diantaranya mengenai kampus merdeka untuk desa serta tugas dan tanggung jawab Forum Pertides dalam mendorong peningkatan kesejahteraan masyarakat desa.

Rapat berlangsung lancar yang diikuti puluhan Perguruan Tinggi di Indonesia hingga pukul 17.30 Wita.(*/mir)
