KATACARA, MAKASSAR – Sekolah Tinggi Manajemen Informatika dan Komputer (STMIK AKBA), turut serta mengambil peran dalam penanganan bencana yang menimpa warga di Sulbar.

Gempa berkekuatan 6,2 magnitudo tersebut telah meluluh lantahkan beberapa kecamatan di daerah Majene dan Mamuju, Sabtu 16 januari 2021

Pasca musibah gempa, STMIK AKBA turut serta menerjunkan tim relawan dan mengirimkan bantuan dari hasil penggalangan donasi yang berasal dari sivitas akademik STMIK AKBA dan donasi dari masyarakat umum.

Wakil Ketua III Bidang Kemahasiswaan dan Alumni, Suryadi Syamsu, S.Kom., M.Kom melalui humas STMIK AKBA dalam konfirmasinya, Ahad (24/1/2021),

Dia menegaskan kegiatan ini adalah bentuk kepedulian terhadap warga yang menjadi korban dalam bencana gempa bumi tersebut.

Tim relawan yang kami terjunkan ke lokasi bencana berasal dari berbagai elemen organisasi mahasiswa STMIK AKBA khususnya Mahasiswa Pencita Alam ( MAPALA STMIK AKBA) dan Himpunan Mahasiswa Sistem Informasi (HIMASISFOR STMIK AKBA) bekerjasama dengan Ikatan Alumni STMIK AKBA.

Sebelumnya kami berterima kasih kepada Babinminvetcaddam XIV/Hsn atas pendistribusian bantuan donasi yang berjalan dengan aman dan lancar, semoga kerjasama antara STMIK AKBA dan Babinminvetcaddam XIV/Hsn tetap berlanjut, kata beliau.
