KATACARA, BANJAR-Beberapa titik di wilayah Kalimantan Selatan masih terendam akibat banjir. Termasuk Desa Sungai Bangkal, Martapura Barat, Kabupaten Banjar. Lokasinya yang berdekatan dengan tepi sungai, menjadikan desa ini terendam oleh luapan air sungai Martapura, sejak hujan lebat mengguyur Kalimantan Selatan pada Kamis kemarin (14/1/2021).

Dengan membangun sinergi bersama Kolaborasi Pemuda-pemudi Indonesia (KOPI) Banjarbaru dan Radar Banjar Peduli (RBP), Dompet Dhuafa menggulirkan bantuan logistik kepada para warga Desa Sungai Bangkal, Hingga Senin sore (25/1/2021). Para penduduk Desa Lok Buntar mengatakan, Desa Sungai Bangkal masih terisolir. Pasalnya akses menuju desa tersebut terendam oleh banjir luapan sungai.

“Untuk ke menuju Desa Sungai Bangkal saat ini hanya bisa dilalui dengan klotok (perahu kayu kecil), dengan estimasi kurang lebih setengah jaman,” terang Nordiansyah, ketua KOPI Banjarbaru.

Sama halnya dengan kondisi di Desa Lok Buntar, warga Desa Sungai Bangkal seluruhnya terdampak banjir. Sebagian besar warga saling bergotong membuat tenda-tenda pengungsian di daratan yang lebih tinggi. Meski begitu, beberapa banyak memilih untuk menetap di rumahnya masing-masing. Alasannya ingin menjaga barang-barang berharganya agar tidak hanyut atau dijarah orang.

Beberapa relawan lokal pun turut membantu mendistribusikan bantuan-bantuan yang datang. Mereka bergerak serentak saling bergotong-royong mengupayakan segala cara untuk membantu sesama, dan berharap musibah ini segera usai.
