KATACARA, JAKARTA – Presiden Joko Widodo menyebutkan bahwa tahun 2021 akan menjadi momentum bagi Indonesia untuk menjadi negara maju. Sejalan dengan hal tersebut, Kementerian Koperasi dan Usaha Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) menyatakan bahwa salah satu syarat menuju negara maju adalah jumlah wirausaha yang semakin meningkat. Saat ini, jumlah wirausaha di Indonesia baru sekitar tiga persen dari total populasi penduduk. Ditargetkan, pada Tahun 2030 angka ini naik menjadi empat persen.

Salah satu upaya meningkatkan jumlah wirausaha di Indonesia adalah dengan menjadikan perguruan tinggi sebagai pusat pertumbuhan entrepreneurship. Melalui program tahunan “Inkubasi Bisnis”, Universitas Pertamina (UP) terus mengembangkan start-up besutan Mahasiswa dan Alumni di bawah pembinaan Career and Development Center (CDC).

Plt. Rektor Universitas Pertamina, Budi W. Soetjipto, Ph.D., dalam wawancara daring Jumat (26/2), mengungkapkan bahwa selain memberikan pendanaan kepada tim bisnis yang lolos seleksi, program yang telah berjalan selama dua periode ini juga memberikan fasilitas pelatihan bisnis (business coaching). “Universitas Pertamina tidak hanya memasukan kewirausahaan ke dalam kurikulum pembelajaran. Lebih dari itu, kami membangun semangat wirausaha melalui kegiatan di luar pembelajaran di kelas, seperti seminar, ekstrakurikuler dan pembinaan semacam ini,” sambungnya.

Dari total 27 pendaftar pada program Inkubasi Bisnis Batch 2021, terpilih 15 tim wirausaha kampus. Mereka akan mendapat pendanaan dan pembimbingan usaha selama tiga bulan. Salah satu tim bisnis terbaik dari hasil penilaian CDC UP adalah LogArt.id. Mereka memberikan jasa desain grafis profesional dan konsultasi branding bagi UMKM.

Hanif Ahmad Maksum, pendiri sekaligus Project Leader LogArt.id yang merupakan mahasiswa Program Studi Ekonomi UP Angkatan 2017, mengungkapkan bahwa ide bisnis LogArt.id muncul setelah mereka melakukan pengamatan kondisi UMKM yang terdampak pandemi Covid-19. “Salah satu cara UMKM untuk bisa bertahan adalah dengan memanfaatkan kemampuan digital marketing, termasuk proses marketing melalui desain visual,” imbuhnya.

Bagi siswa-siswi dari seluruh Indonesia yang bercita-cita untuk berkuliah di kampus keren yang juga fokus pada penciptaan lapangan kerja, dapat bergabung dengan Universitas Pertamina melalui Seleksi Nilai Rapor Tahun Akademik 2021/2022. Pendaftaran telah dibuka sejak tanggal 17 Februari hingga 21 Maret 2021 mendatang.

Seleksi ini merupakan seleksi tanpa tes. Siswa-siswi dapat memilih empat program studi yang ada di Universitas Pertamina, disesuaikan dengan kelompok ujian dan latar belakang pendidikan SMA/SMK/sederajat yang tengah ditempuh.
