KATACARA, MAKASSAR–Dua dosen Universitas Hasanuddin terpilih sebagai Tim Reviewer Nasional untuk Program Kompetisi Kampus Merdeka (PK-KM). Program ini diselenggarakan oleh Dewan Pendidikan Tinggi (DPT) Direktorat Jenderal Pendidikan Tinggi (Ditjen Dikti). Kedua dosen Unhas, masing-masing adalah Ir. Suharman Hamzah, Ph.D, dan Muhammad Alif K. Sahide, Ph.D.

Suharman Hamzah adalah dosen Fakultas Teknik, yang saat ini menjabat sebagai Direktur Komunikasi Unhas. Sementara Muhammad Alif K. Sahide merupakan dosen Fakultas Kehutanan sekaligus editor in chief Journal of Forest and Society.

Pengumuman hasil seleksi telah diumumkan oleh Ditjen Dikti pada Senin (22/02). Proses seleksi sendiri berlangsung cukup ketat, melibatkan unsur Perguruan Tinggi Negeri (PTN), Perguruan Tinggi Swasta (PTS), dan Industri.

Sebanyak 155 orang dinyatakan memenuhi syarat dan terpilih sebagai Reviewer Nasional, terdiri atas 30 orang dari PTN, 85 orang dari PTS, dan 40 orang dari PTS.

Pada kesempatan wawancara, Jumat (26/02) Ir. Suharman Hamzah, Ph.D., Direktur Komunikasi sekaligus dosen Unhas yang terpilih sebagai Reviewer Nasional PK-KM menjelaskan proses seleksi berlangsung terbuka oleh DPT Dikti.

Persyaratan untuk menjadi reviewer adalah dosen yang berasal dari PTN terakreditasi A dan minimal akreditasi B untuk PTS. Syarat lainnya berusia tidak lebih dari 45 tahun, dan memiliki pengalaman dalam pengelolaan pendidikan tinggi dan pengembangan perguruan tinggi.

“Peserta yang mengikuti seleksi cukup banyak, lebih dari 330 orang. Berbagai rangkaian seleksi kami lewati, mulai dari seleksi administrasi, tes tertulis hingga psikotest dengan tiga jenis test. Setelah itu, para kandidat mengikuti pelatihan yang juga merupakan bagian dari seleksi,” jelas Suharman.

Suharman menambahkan tugas pertama sebagai tim reviewer nasional PK-KM Dikti adalah melakukan verifikasi kelayakan, validasi data proposal, evaluasi administrasi, dan evaluasi kualitas proposal. Selanjutnya, reviewer memberikan rekomendasi penerima bantuan pemerintah untuk PK-KM yang diajukan oleh Perguruan Tinggi Negeri maupun Swasta.

“Dikti memang melakukan regenerasi reviewer yang baru terlaksana kembali beberapa tahun untuk hibah kompetisi. Saya tertarik mengikuti seleksi ini karena saya memiliki banyak pengalaman terkait pengelolan pendidikan tinggi dan pengembangan perguruan tinggi. Setidaknya membantu saya dalam melaksanakan tugas,” ungkap Suharman.

Program Kompetisi Kampus Merdeka (PK-KM) sendiri merupakan bagian dari realisasi tujuan Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan dalam meningkatkan kompetensi lulusan, memperluas wawasan serta mendorong kualitas dosen maupun mahasiswa yang berkompeten dan siap bersaing dalam penciptaan lapangan kerja maupun seorang profesional.(*/mir)
