Pertamina Foundation Buka Beasiswa Reguler Afirmasi dan Vokasi Tahun 2021

KATACARA, JAKARTA, ― Pertamina Foundation melalui program PFprestasi, kembali membuka program Beasiswa Pertamina Sobat Bumi 2021.

Sebanyak 350 mahasiswa-mahasiswi dari kampus mitra yang akan diberikan bantuan berupa biaya SPP, biaya hidup bulanan mahasiswa, dan tentunya juga kesempatan mengikuti rangkaian kegiatan pembelajaran serta pembentukan karakter melalui kegiatan peningkatan kapasitas dan Aksi Sobat Bumi.

Pendaftaran beasiswa yang ditujukan untuk mahasiswa S1/Diploma ini akan dibuka serentak pada 29 Maret 2021 di seluruh kampus mitra wilayah area bisnis Pertamina.

Di tahun 2021 ini, terdapat peningkatan jumlah kampus mitra dari yang sebelumnya 25 kampus kini menjadi 36 kampus. Jenis beasiswa yang ditawarkan juga beragam, meliputi beasiswa S1 Reguler, Beasiswa S1 Afirmasi Daerah Operasi. dan Beasiswa Vokasi untuk diploma.

Beasiswa Pertamina Sobat Bumi S1 Reguler hanya berlaku bagi mahasiswa yang berkuliah di kampus mitra pertamina seperti UGM Yogyakarta, UI Jakarta, ITB Bandung, USU Medan, UNSRI Palembang, Universitas Pertamina Jakarta, UNDIP Semarang, UNAIR Surabaya, Universitas Brawijaya Malang, UNHAS Makassar, Universitas Pattimura Ambon dan Universitas Cendrawasih Jayapura.

Sedangkan Beasiswa Pertamina Afirmasi Daerah Operasi merupakan sebuah apresiasi bagi putra-putri bangsa yang berkuliah di sekitar area operasi PT Pertamina (Persero), meliputi Rokan-Riau, Tuban Jawa Timur, Balikpapan dan Karawang Jawa Barat. Kampus yang sudah bermitra untuk jenis beasiswa ini adalah Universitas Riau (Pekanbaru), STAI Tuangku Tambusai (Rokan Hulu), Universitas Pasir Pengaraian (Rokan Hulu), STAI Sulthan Syarif Hasyim Siak (Siak), dan Universitas Islam Riau (Riau), Universitas PGRI Ronggolawe dan Universitas Sunan Bonang (Tuban), Institut Teknologi Kalimantan (Balikpapan), Universitas Balikpapan, STT Migas Balikpapan, serta Universitas Singaperbangsa Karawang.

Adapun program penciptaan tenaga terampil siap kerja, yaitu Beasiswa Pertamina Vokasi dengan mitra Akamigas Balongan di Jawa Barat, Politeknik Negeri Cilacap di Jawa Tengah, Politeknik Negeri Fak-Fak di Papua Barat, Politeknik Negeri Kupang di NTT, dan Politeknik Kelautan & Perikanan di Sorong Papua Barat.

Presiden Direktur Pertamina Foundation Agus Mashud S. Asngari, menjelaskan bahwa beasiswa ini menjadi bentuk komitmen Pertamina untuk meningkatan kualitas sumber daya manusia (SDM) di Indonesia yang tidak hanya unggul, tangguh, dan cerdas, tetapi juga memiliki jiwa sosial yang tinggi.

“Beasiswa Pertamina Sobat Bumi menjadi salah satu program ikonik dan juga kekuatan Pertamina Foundation untuk menghasilkan young leaders yang bisa membawa kebanggaan, tidak hanya untuk Pertamina Foundation dan Pertamina, tetapi juga bagi masyarakat dan lingkungan. Jadi, kita akan memberikan capacity building dan pembekalan yang tepat untuk mereka,” tambah Agus, pada Hari Rabu (24/03).

Sobat Bumi menjadi jargon sekaligus nama beasiswa dengan harapan besar agar penerima beasiswa memiliki karakter ramah lingkungan dan aktif dalam berbagai gerakan sosial. Sejak awal dibukanya pada tahun 2011, telah terdapat 2.547 penerima beasiswa yang juga tergabung dalam Komunitas Sobat Bumi Indonesia dengan jaringan tersebar dari Sumatera hingga Papua.

Mewakili kampus-kampus mitra, Wakil Rektor 1 Universitas Diponegoro Prof. Budi Setiyono PhD, menyampaikan rasa terima kasih atas program beasiswa yang bukan hanya membuat mahasiswa terbantu secara perekonomian, namun juga memberikan pengalaman menarik.

“Apa yang diinisiasi oleh Pertamina Foundation ini sungguh hal yang mulia. Semoga ini bisa memberi impact yang dapat dirasakan oleh masyarakat luas. Terlebih bila ada klasterisasi program yang dilakukan oleh para penerima beasiswa itu. Misalnya, kelompok penyelamat sungai, penyelamat hutan, penyelamat satwa langka, penyelemat spesies tanaman langka dan kelompok peduli sampah,” ujar Budi.

Penyelenggaraan program beasiswa ini mendapatkan dana bantuan dari CSR PT Pertamina (Persero), serta beberapa anak perusahaan yang berpatisipasi, yaitu PT Pertamina EP dan PT Pertamina Hulu Kalimantan Timur dan diserahkan melalui Pertamina Foundation kepada para penerima.
