KATACARA, JAKARTA — Pada Rabu (14/7/2021), Dompet Dhuafa dan Debellin Premium Cookware membagi-bagikan paket sembako kepada warga-warga kecil yang terdampak pandemi Covid-19. Berbagai cerita haru pun keluar dari hati masing-masing penerima manfaat.

Ada yang berprofesi sebagai Pedagang Kaki Lima (PKL) mie ayam, harus gulung tikar sebab sepinya pelanggan. Ada yang sebelumnya bekerja sebagai kuli bangunan, kini harus berhenti karena terkena pemutusan hubungan kerja. Beberapa yang sehari-harinya menarik bajaj, kini mereka hanya bisa duduk mangkal di samping ketiga rodanya.

Carmat (67), warga RT 6 RW 10 kelurahan Angke, kecamatan Tambora, Jakarta barat, adalah salah satu dari penerima manfaat dari aksi kebaikan Dompet Dhuafa dan Debellin. Satu boks paket sembako berisikan vitamin C, beras, minyak goreng, gula, tepung, mie instan, dan bahan-bahan pokok lainnya diberikan kepada Carmat saat dirinya duduk di samping parkiran bajaj yang dirawatnya.

“Setiap hari saya duduk-duduk di sini mas. Kadang bingung juga, mau keluar untuk narik, tapi gak bakal ada penumpang yang naik. Kalau di sini saja saya tidak dapat pemasukan. Mau kerja yang lain juga tidak ada modalnya, belum tentu juga ada pelanggan,” ucap pria asal Tegal tersebut.

Lanjutnya bercerita, pekerjaan sebagai supir bajaj sudah lama dilakukannya. Sejak dirinya memutuskan merantau ke Jakarta pada tahu 2002, ia habiskan hari siangnya dengan kendaraan asal India tersebut.

Meski begitu, Pak Carmat bukan lah orang pengeluh. Untuk bertahan hidup, Carmat menyisihkan sisa-sisa uang yang dimilikinya dibagi untuk kebutuhan setiap harinya. Carmat juga percaya dan yakin, keadaan pandemi ini bakal berakhir dan ia segera kembali mengoperasikan bajaj dan mendapat penumpang.

Carmat mengaku, “setiap kali selesai melaksanakan salat lima waktu di masjid, saya selalu memanjatkan doa agar pandemi ini secepatnya berakhir”.
