KATACARA, JAKARTA– Lonjakan pasien akibat pandemi Covid-19 terus meningkat. Di berbagai Rumah Sakit hingga layanan kesehatan mengalami lonjakan yang cukup drastis, namun terjadinya peningkatan jumlah pasien kurang didukung dengan fasilitas yang memadai. Bahkan sejumlah pasien harus mengantri di pelataran rumah sakit maupun di lantai-lantai dengan kondisi seadanya.

“Melihat kejadian tersebut, Dompet Dhuafa berinisiatif untuk membuka Rumah Sakit Lapangan untuk Covid-19 yang bekerjasama dengan rumah sakit-rumah sakit umum di daerah (RSUD). Kali ini di tahap pertama kami aktivasi di RSUD Kebayoran Lama. Harapannya dapat membantu pasien-pasien yang terpapar virus Covid-19, agar mendapatkan ruang penanganan yang memadai,” jelas dr. Yeni Purnamasari, MKM., selaku General Manager Kesehatan Dompet Dhuafa di sela-sela persiapan Rumah Sakit Lapangan, pada Senin (5/7/2021).

Dengan adanya Rumah Sakit Lapangan atas hasil kolaborAksi Dompet Dhuafa bersama sejumlah Dinas Kesehatan baik RSUD maupun rumah sakit-rumah sakit swasta lainnya, diharapkan dapat mempercepat penanganan dan kemudahan layanan perawatan bagi masyarakat yang terpapar Covid-19. Kemudian juga mengurangi kasus pasien yang terkendala penanganannya akibat ruangan yang tersedia di Rumah Sakit penuh.

“Selain menambah daya tampung pasien, adanya Rumah Sakit Lapangan ini tentunya sebagai bagian untuk zona screening layanan pertama dalam menentukan lanjutan penanganan pasien Covid-19. Sehingga dapat ditentukan lanjutannya apakah dirawat di Rumah Sakit tersebut atau cukup isolasi mandiri,” tambah Yeni.

Kehadiran Rumah Sakit Lapangan, tidak luput dari peran para donatur dalam menguatkan kolaborAksi Dompet Dhuafa di tengah melonjaknya kasus pandemi Covid-19 di Indonesia.

Pada waktu yang bersamaan Nasyith Majidi, selaku Ketua Yayasan Dompet Dhuafa, mengatakan, “Kami terus mengajak seluruh elemen masyarakat untuk kolaborAksi bersama dalam penanganan pandemi Covid-19. Pemerintah tidak bisa bekerja dengan sendiri, begitupun peran masyarakat. Semua kita lakukan bersama-sama untuk menguatkan aksi dalam upaya pengurangan maupun pencegahan pandemi Covid-19 di Indonesia. Selain itu kita harus saling menjaga satu sama lain. Tidak menimbulkan panic buying atau pembelian sebuah produk secara besar-besaran yang akhirnya memicu kecemasan di masyarakat, terutama bagi mereka yang membutuhkan saat ini”.
