KATACARA,JAKARTA,- Dampak pandemi Covid-19 yang masih berlangsung, terutama dirasakan oleh para pelaku usaha mikro, kecil, dan menengah (UMKM). Data dari Bank Indonesia menyebutkan, hingga Kuartal II Tahun 2021 sebanyak 87.5 persen UMKM terdampak pandemi Covid-19. Dari jumlah tersebut, 93.2 persen di antaranya mengalami penurunan penjualan dan omzet yang cukup drastis.

Hasil survei Mandiri Institute pada Maret-April 2021 menunjukkan, sebanyak 7.1 persen pelaku UMKM di Indonesia berhenti beroperasi. Faktor utamanya disinyalir karena masalah permodalan dan prospek usaha yang kurang diminati selama pandemi. Guna menjaga ketahanan rintisan bisnis mahasiswa sekaligus menjaga iklim kewirausahaan yang telah terbangun, Universitas Pertamina (UP) melakukan berbagai upaya. Salah satunya dengan memberikan pembinaan dan bantuan pendanaan kepada tiga puluh dua rintisan bisnis mahasiswa.

“Dukungan dari universitas membantu kami terutana untuk mengembangkan usaha. Misalnya, untuk meningkatkan kualitas layanan dengan pembelian material yang lebih baik. Hasilnya, rintisan bisnis saya dan teman-teman, di masa pandemi ini masih bisa memperoleh omzet stabil di angka tiga sampai empat juta rupiah per bulan,” ungkap Rafli Izzulhaq, mahasiswa Program Studi Komunikasi sekaligus founder Lantai Lima.

Lantai Lima merupakan salah satu rintisan bisnis karya mahasiswa UP yang menyediakan layanan kebersihan (clean up), pencarian tempat tinggal, serta pengemasan, penitipan, dan pengiriman barang. “Ide usaha ini muncul ketika saya melihat teman-teman mahasiswa kesulitan untuk pindah kos. Dari mulai pencarian kos yang sesuai dengan keinginan, sampai pada pengemasan dan pemindahan barangnya. Kalaupun ada, harga untuk layanan tersebut tidak ramah di kantong mahasiswa,” tutur Izzul.

Tak disangka, di awal pandemi usaha Izzul dan tim laku keras. “Awalnya, teman-teman mahasiswa yang pulang kampung khawatir dengan kondisi kamar kos yang ditinggal berbulan-bulan ketika pemberlakuan pembelajaran daring. Saat itu, order yang kami terima kebanyakan untuk membersihkan kamar kos dan menitipkan barang berharga yang ditinggal. Karena pandemi tak kunjung berakhir, banyak dari mereka yang kemudian memutuskan untuk memindahkan barang dari kos ke rumah. Tiba-tiba kami kebanjiran order,” ujar Syafira Khairunnisa, rekan Izzul dari program studi Teknik Logistik.

Diakui Izzul dan tim, pembinaan dari universitas seperti pelatihan manajemen krisis dan risiko, manajemen keuangan, serta strategi pemasaran, membantu mereka untuk merumuskan strategi ke depan. Ditambah, mata kuliah yang ia dapatkan di kelas seperti marketing komunikasi, perilaku konsumen, dan public relation, juga sangat membantu untuk terus berinovasi. Rintisan bisnis karya Izzul dan tim juga berkesempatan menyabet penghargaan dari Career and Development Center (CDC) Universitas Pertamina sebagai salah satu rintisan bisnis terbaik pada ajang Inkubasi Bisnis tahun 2020.

Salah satu inovasi yang terus dilakukan oleh tim sebagai hasil dari pembinaan, adalah menyediakan layanan yang masih jarang dimiliki oleh kompetitor. Misalnya, pada jasa penitipan barang. Selain membersihkan secara rutin, tim juga melakukan maintetance agar barang yang dititipkan tidak cepat rusak.

“Kami juga terus melakukan pemutakhiran digitalisasi platform yang digunakan. Saat ini kami baru menggunakan media sosial, seperti instagram. Kami sedang merancang pembuatan website untuk memaksimalkan layanan. Kedepan, kami akan menggandeng mitra untuk pembuatan aplikasi,” lanjut Ahmad Luqmanul Hakim, anggota Tim dari program studi Komunikasi.

Untuk mendapatkan layanan dari Lantai Lima, konsumen hanya perlu mengisi formulir daring dan memilih layanan yang tersedia. Tim Lantai Lima kemudian akan menghubungi konsumen untuk melakukan konfirmasi mekanisme pengerjaan order.

Guna mengakselerasi lahirnya rintisan bisnis mahasiswa, Universitas Pertamina (UP) juga bekerja sama dengan Kementerian Pemuda dan Olahraga (Kemenpora) melalui program Kewirausahaan Pemuda. Berbagai seminar dan pembekalan telah dilaksanakan kedua institusi untuk mendorong partisipasi aktif mahasiswa untuk menciptakan rintisan bisnis baru. Tiga rintisan bisnis besutan mahasiswa UP juga berhasil mendapatkan pembinaan dan pendanaan dari Kemenpora.
