Unismuh Makassar Peduli Kumpulkan Donasi Korban Gempa Sulbar

KATACARA, MAKASSAR–Kampus Unismuh Makassar membuka pengumpulan donasi bantuan bagi korban gempa bumi Sulbar di Majene dan Mamuju.

Gempa Sulbar Jumat (15/1/2021), jam 01.28 WIT, berkekuatan magnitudo 6.2 ini, memporakporandakan kantor dan pemukiman di Mamuju dan Mejene dengan korban jiwa telah mencapai 56 meninggal dunia dan 637 luka luka.

Kepada media, Ahad (17/1/2021) Wakil Rektor II Unismuh Makassar, Dr. H .Andi Sukri Syamsuri, M.Hum mengatakan, kampus kemudian membuka donasi bantuan korban gempa dari civitas akademika Unismuh Makassar.

Nilai nominal donasi yang terkumpul pada tahap pertama ini mencapai mencapai Rp.27.500.000, lewat Rekening Unismuh Peduli.

Dijelaskan, donasi tahap pertama yang terkumpul ini melalui Tim Muhammadiyah Disaster Management Center (MDMC) Wilayah Sulsel yang juga perwakilan Unismuh Makassar.

Mudah mudahan para civitas akademika kampus dosen dan pegawai yang turut menyumbang semoga mendapat berkah, tutur Dekan FKIP Unismuh Makassar pada masanya ini.

Donasi yang terkumpul untuk tahap pertama ini akan terus bertambah pada tahap berikutnya. Andis mengaku pihak terkait dari Unismuh Makassar terus bergerak mengumpulkan donasi bantuan.

Ini baru tahap pertama terkumpul dari donatur selama dua hari, Insyaalaah akan terus bergerak mengumpulkan bantuan, dan donasi ini akan ada tambahan dari Peduli Unismuh yang telah dicanangkan Rektor Unismuh Prof Dr H. Ambo Asse, M.Ag, ungkap Andis.

Sekretaris Kesatuan Masyarakat Wajo ini, menambahkan donasi yang terkumpul masih dalam bentuk nominal, tetapi pada tingkat fakultas seperti Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan (FKIP) Peduli juga mengumpulkan termasuk logistik.

Saat ini Rektor Prof Ambo Asse, membuka rekening Peduli Unismuh di setiap bank Mitra Unismuh Makassar, dana terkumpul ini selain untuk kegiatan kemanusiaan seperti bencana juga dialokasikan kepada mahasiswa dan dosen yang membutuhkan bantuan, ini salah satu program peduli Unismuh, tandas penulis beberapa judul buku ini.
