Unhas Kembali Gelar Vaksinasi Massal Covid-19 Dosis Kedua

KATACARA, MAKASSAR– Universitas Hasanuddin kembali mengambil bagian dalam penyelenggaraan vaksinasi massal Covid-19 dosis kedua untuk tenaga kesehatan di Kota Makassar, Senin (15/02). Kegiatan vaksinasi massal diselenggarakan di GOR JK Arenatorium Kampus Unhas Tamalanrea, mulai pukul 08.00 Wita dengan penerapan protokol Covid-19 secara ketat.

Kegiatan kolaborasi antara Unhas, Pemerintah Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan dan Pemerintah Kota Makassar bersama Rumah Sakit vertikal ini merupakan lanjutan dari proses vaksinasi massal dosis pertama yang telah berlangsung tanggal 1-3 Februari 2021 lalu.

Sesuai prosedur, vaksinasi Covid-19 harus berlangsung dalam dua kali pemberian dosis, untuk memastikan terbentuknya kekebalan dan munculnya anti-bodi sebagaimana diharapkan. Interval atau rentang waktu pemberian dosis pertama dan kedua adalah 14 hari.

Mewakili pihak Unhas, Direktur Komunikasi, Ir. Suharman Hamzah, Ph.D menjelaskan bahwa penyelenggaraan vaksinasi massal dosis kedua ini merupakan bentuk komitmen Unhas dalam mendukung lancarnya penyelenggaraan vaksinasi dan memberikan kemudahan bagi tenaga kesehatan yang ingin divaksin.

Bentuk komitmen dan dukungan serta keterlibatan Unhas sendiri terlihat dari penyiapan lokasi dan logistik untuk pelaksanaan kegiatan. Sementara itu, tenaga vaksinator berasal dari berbagai Pusat Kesehatan Masyarakat di Kota Makassar.

Kembali kita selenggarakan di GOR agar lebih memudahkan proses koordinasi dan peserta vaksin dosis pertama dapat kembali kesini untuk melakukan vaksinasi lanjutan,” jelas Suharman.

Kegiatan vaksinasi Covid-19 dosis kedua hari pertama berlangsung lancar hingga pukul 15.30 Wita. Sesuai rencana, proses vaksinasi massal tahap dua akan berlangsung selama tiga hari, hingga Rabu (17/02).(*/mir)
