KATACARA, SUMUT- Guna mencegah terjadinya abrasi, relawan Dompet Dhuafa Volunteer lakukan aksi tanam pohon di Bagan Percut, Kecamatan Percut Sei Tuan, Kabupaten Deli Serdang, pada Minggu (17/1).

Dari penjelasan Insan, selaku Ketua Dompet Dhuafa Volunteer mengatakan bahwa kegiatan ini memang sengaja dilakukan guna mencegah terjadinya abrasi. “Aksi yang dinamakan dengan Tanam Seribu Pohon ini memang sengaja dilakukan guna mencegah terjadinya abrasi dan wujud kepedulian kepada alam kita”.

Apresiasi yang baik dari para komunitas dan pemerintah setempat. “Dari aksi tadi juga alhamdulillah mendapat apresiasi yang baik dari teman-teman sesama komunitas dan pemerintah setempat yang juga turut serta mengikuti kegiatan,” lanjut Insan.

Senada dengan apresiasi dari pihak lain, Sulaiman selaku Pimpinan Dompet Dhuafa Waspada pun turut mengapresiasi kegiatan yang dilakukan para relawan.

“Kegiatan menanam pohon ini merupakan kegiatan yang luar biasa, sangat kita apresiasi sebab dengan tujuan mencegah abrasi berarti ini wujud peduli kita kepada generasi berikutnya,” ungkap Sulaiman.

Harapan agar kegiatan semacam ini dapat terus dilanjutkan. “Kalau kemarin Dompet Dhuafa Volunteer lakukan donor darah, lalu ini menanam pohon, mungkin kedepan bisa terus dilanjutkan dengan membersihkan sampah di area pantai yang juga menjadi konsentrasi untuk menjaga kebersihan lingkungan”.

Keterlibatan para volunteer agar tetap menjaga semangatnya untuk terus menebar kebaikan.

“Semoga bisa tetap dijaga semangatnya, dipupuk lagi kebaikan-kebaikan lainnya agar tidak putus harapan kita untuk mewujudkan satu hari satu kebaikan,” tutup Sulaiman.
