KATACARA, GOWA– Pengelola Madrasah Islam Negeri (MIN) Bontosunggu, Panciro, Kecamatan Bajeng, Kabupaten Gowa patut bersyukur dan berbangga karena baru saja diumumkan sebagai madrasah terbaik di Sulselvoleh Tim Peneliti Madrasah Berkembang dan Madrasah Terbelakang, Kementerian Agama RI.

Demikian disampaikan Kepala MIN Bontosunggu, Nursamad, S.Ag kepada media, Senin (11/1) di ruang kerjanya.

Menurut Nursamad, sukses MIN Bontosunggu menjadi madrasah terbaik di sekolah tak lepas dari penilaian dan pengamatan Tim Peneliti Madrasah Berkembang dan Madrasah Terbelakang yang melakukan debutnya di 24 kabupaten/kota di Sulsel selama dua bulan terakhir ini.

Tim Peneliti Madrasah Berkembang dan Madrasah Terbelakang, Nursamad menjelaskan, mereka menilai banyak hal, antara lain kondisi fisik bangunan sekolah (madrasah) jumlah tenaga pengajar, jumlah murid yang disesuaikan jumlah ruang kelas, proses belajar mengajar, lingkungan yang sehat dan bersih, lahan yang mendukung dan partisipasi masyarakat.

“Alhamduillah, semua obyek penelitian dan penilaian yang diharapkan oleh tim ada semua di MIN Bontosunggu, dibandingkan MIN atau MIS lainnya yang ada di kabupaten/kota lain di Sulsel masih jauh dari harapan,”ungkap Nursamad.

Meski begitu, lanjutnya,
bukan berarti MIN Bontosunggu tanpa kekurangan dari Ruang Kelas Belajar (RKB).

Malah sekolah ini masih butuh RKB sekitar 15 unit apabila mengacu pada petunjuk teknis 32 siswa/kelas.

Namun, kini masih berlaku kebijakan dengan 40 siswa/kelas mengingat harapan masyarakat dan warga setempat agar anaknya dapat ditampung di MIN Bontosunggu, sehingga sekarang tercatat 18 Rombel (Rombangan Belajar) dan murid berjumlah 636 orang serta guru negeri 26 orang dan 4 honorer.

Sekolah yang berada di atas lahan dengan luas 6.300 meterpersegi, Nursamad mengatakan, sekolah yang dipimpinnya selalu dikunjungi banyak pihak terutama pejabat terkait pada Kantor Kementerian Agama Sulsel dan Kantor Kementerian Agama Kabupaten Gowa termasuk pihak Kementerian Agama RI. MIN Bontosunggu tak lupuk dari peran dan keikutsertaan dalam
berbagai kegiatan lomba pada event tertentu seperti pada puncak Peringatan Hari Amal Bakti Kemenag bertepatan pada 3 Januari setiap tahun.

Tidak hanya itu, MIN Bontosunggu menorehkan sejumlah prestasi akademik dan non akademik baik level kabupaten maupun provinsi bahkan nasional.

Satu diantaranya adalah mendapatkan penghargaan sebagai Sekolah Peduli dan Berbudaya Lingkungan oleh Bupati Gowa serta Sekolah Adiwiyata Tingkat Kabupaten Gowa 2015.
