KATACARA, DENPASAR,— Sabtu lalu (07/02) menjadi hari yang kelam bagi pemukiman pemulung yang sebagian besar para pengumpul barang bekas ludes terbakar oleh si jago merah. Kobaran api juga melahap empat Gudang rongsokan sekaligus. Sebanyak 71 warga yang terdampak kebakaran pemukiman pemulung. Sudah seminggu (Senin, 15/02) warga terdampak masih bertahan di Sekolah Dasar (SDN) 29 Denpasar, Bali.

Menurut Wahyu Sri Handono selaku Pimpinan Dompet Dhuafa (DD) Bali di sela-sela pendistribusian bantuan (Senin, 15/02/2021) mengatakan, “Dompet Dhuafa Bali berkolaborasi dengan MT Qurrata A’yun mendistribusikan bantuan bagi penyintas kebakaran di Denpasar, Bali. Selain bantuan uang tunai, DD Bali bersama MT Qurrata A’yun mendistribusikan pakaian layak pakai, masker selusin, wajan 2 Buah, satu panci, kompor tungku dua buah, sebuah tabung gas elpiji tiga kg dan air mineral lima dus”.

“Harapan dari kami atas kolaborasi ini, semoga bisa terjalin untuk berbagai kegiatan terutama bagi penyintas yang terdampak. Selain dapat meringankan beban yang terdampak kebakaran, kami berikan dalam bentuk uang tunai melihat tanah yang mereka tempati rupanya masih kontrak dan akan berencana pulang ke Jawa sehingga bisa buat tambah ongkos sewa kendaraan, peralatan dapur kita berikan sesuai permintaan para korban pasca kebakaran dan mereka hidup normal kembali sudah memiliki peralatan dapur,”pungkas Wahyu Sri Handono.
