KATACARA, MAKASSAR–Tim Pengabdian Masyarakat yang tergabung dalam Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PK-M) Universitas Hasanuddin bekerja sama dengan Kantor Pertanahan Kabupaten Takalar, menyelenggarakan penyuluhan terkait strategi pemanfaatan pesisir. Kegiatan berlangsung di Desa Laikang, Kabupaten Takalar pada Sabtu (10/07).

Dekan Fakultas Hukum Unhas, Prof. Dr. Farida Patittingi, S.H, M.Hum., selaku Ketua Tim menjelaskan kegiatan ini penting bagi masyarakat pesisir guna mengetahui dan memanfaatkan wilayah pesisir sesuai dengan aturan yang berlaku.

Secara hukum, Prof. Farida mengatakan hukum pertanahan mengakui adanya hukum adat sebagai dasar penguasaan dan pemanfaatan tanah secara turun temurun yang diatur secara konstitusional. Olehnya itu, masyarakat perlu memahami hal tersebut, terkhusus ketika ingin memperoleh kepastian hukum atas kepemilikan tanah dan hak yang harus dimiliki untuk melakukan pendaftaran tanah.

“Desa Laikang merupakan salah satu desa yang terletak di wilayah pesisir Kecamatan Mangarabombang, Kabupaten Takalar. Setelah melakukan observasi dan wawancara singkat dengan Kepala Desa Laikang, ditemukan permasalahan hukum terkait pengelolaan dan pemanfaatan wilayah pesisir untuk kegiatan ekonomi dan tempat tinggal. Bahkan, terkadang menimbulkan konflik di antara para warga desa,” Prof. Farida.

Kegiatan diikuti oleh seluruh staf desa dan tokoh masyarakat yang berjumlah 35 orang secara luring terbatas dengan menerapkan protokol kesehatan secara ketat. Adapun tim pengabdian yang terlibat terdiri dari beberapa dosen Fakultas Hukum Unhas yakni Dr. Marwah, S.H, M.H, Amaliyah S.H, M.H, dan Andi Kurniawati S.H, M.H dan dua orang mahasiswa fakultas hukum.

Kegiatan ini memberi manfaat bagi masyarakat, menambah pemahaman masyarakat Desa Laikang terkait aturan pemanfaatan wilayah pesisir dan syarat teknis untuk perizinan pemanfaatan wilayah pesisir. (*/mir)
