KATACARA, JAKARTA – Proses menyusui merupakan momen penting dalam perjalanan menjadi seorang ibu dalam melindungi anak dari berbagai penyakit yang banyak dialami anak-anak, seperti diare dan pneumonia . Mengingat pentingnya edukasi kesehatan para ibu menyusui terutama penyintas Covid-19, Layanan Kesehatan Cuma – Cuma (LKC) Dompet Dhuafa (DD) melalui para Relawan melakukan monitoring kesehatan untuk ibu menyusui penyintas Covid-19 bertepatan dengan Pekan ASI Sedunia di RW 07 Kelurahan Tengah, Kramat Jati, Jakarta Timur.

“pada Kamis (5/8/2021),ini merupakan bagian dari  kolaborAksi Dompet Dhuafa dalam memperingati pekan asi sedunia mulai dari tanggal 1 – 7 Agustus setiap tahunnya. Pada tahun ini, Kami mengutamakan kepada ibu yang sedang menjalankan isolasi mandiri untuk  memberikan Asi kepada bayinya. Selain itu juga kami memberikan bantuan gratis paket gizi untuk para ibu menyusui,” ucap Bunga selaku Pimpinan Cabang LKC DD di Jakarta.

Asupan nutrisi, kesiapan fisik maupun mental menjadi unsur penting yang harus diperhatikan. Dampak pemberian makan bayi terhadap lingkungan/perubahan iklim & keharusan untuk melindungi, mempromosikan & mendukung pemberian ASI untuk kesehatan bumi & masyarakat.

Bunga juga menjelaskan, keberhasilan kegiatan ini juga tidak lepas dari kerja keras para relawan yang tergabung dalam Super Relawan. Beberapa mahasiswa serta perawat dari berbagai fasilitas kesehatan mendedikasikan kemampuan mereka dalam bidang kesehatan untuk terjun melakukan monitoring kepada para ibu menyusui di kediaman mereka.

Tanpa disadari khawatir, cemas, bahkan tingkat stres berlebihan dapat memengaruhi produksi hormon oksitosin. Apabila ibu sedang stres atau lelah, maka hormon oksitosin akan berkurang sehingga memengaruhi produksi ASI.Terlebih dimasa pandemi Covid-19 yang sangat mudah menular ke siapa saja termasuk ibu menyusui.

Ibu Turasih salah satu kader Dasa Wisma mengaku senang dengan adanya monitoring di lingkungannya tersebut. Banyaknya ibu menyusui sekaligus penyintas Covid-19 menjadi perhatian utama bagi kelompok Dasa Wisma, mereka terus melakukan pemantauan berkala guna mengetahui kesehatan ibu dan sang buah hati.

“Ya Alhamdulillah, dengan adanya dukungan monitoring dari LKC Dompet Dhuafa kami lebih tenang karena bisa mengetahui dengan jelas bagaimana kesehatan si ibu dan anaknya. Kami ibu-ibu disini tidak punya pengetahuin mempuni untuk memeriksa kesehatan secara jelas, makanya kami senang ada perawat kesini,” jelas Turasih saat mendampingi kegiatan monitoring.

Kegiatan ini juga termasuk salah satu pengembangan program Covid-19 Crisis Center Dompet Dhuafa dalam menekan laju penyebaran Covid-19 di Indonesia.Melalui hotline whatsapp 08111617101, masyarakat bisa mendapatkan layanan-layanan aksi Covid-19 Crisis Center berikut.

“Dimasa pandemi Covid-19 sekarang ini banyak sekali yang perlu kita perhatikan, salah satunya adalah kelompok ibu menyusui. Golongan tersebut perlu mendapatkan perhatian lebih karena edukasi yang masih minim di masyarakat dapat menjadi masalah bagi para ibu juga bayi mereka. Bertepatan dengan Pekan ASI Sedunia kami coba mengambil momentum dengan mengadakan kegiatan ini,” ujar Rita Yulianti selaku Penanggung Jawab kegiatan monitoring kesehatan untuk ibu menyusui penyintas Covid-19.
