KATACARA, JOGJAKARTA- Konflik yang terus berkecamuk di Palestina terus menambah perederitaan masyarakat di negara tersebut. Banyak orang telah menjadi korban, tidak sedikit pula anak-anak dan Wanita. Bahkan berbagai fasilitas umum hancur karena menjadi sasaran rudal-rudal maupun senjata yang memborbardir kawasan tersebut, termasuk juga sarana kesehatan. Krisis kemanusiaan yang banyak menelan korban tersebut membutuhkan bantuan dari pihak luar, terutama kita sebagai sesama muslim.

Atas dasar rasa kemanusiaan, sejumlah Baitul Maal wa Tanwil (BMT) yang terhimpun dalam Perhimpunan Baitul Maal wa Tanwil Indonesia (PBMTI) dengan legalitasnya bernama Lembaga Amil Zakat & Sedekah Membangun Keluarga Utama (LAZIS MKU) melakukan penggalangan dana. Tujuan penggalangan dana adalah meringankan penderitaan rakyat Palestina dengan cara menghadirkan armada transportasi pasien (ambulans).

Pada pelaksanaannya PBMTI-LAZIS MKU menggandeng Dompet Dhuafa. Sebagai Lembaga filantropi Islam, Dompet Dhuafa telah beberapa kali melakukan operasi bantuan kemanusiaan di Palestina, termasuk juga pengadaan ambulans.

Melalui serah terima yang dilakukan secara virtual pada (Selasa, 27/07/2021), Muhammad Ridwan selaku Ketua Yayasan MKU mengatakan bahwa, sinergi baik antara Dompet Dhuafa dan PBMTI-LAZIS MKU dapat menghadirkan kebermanfaatan bagi masyarakat Palestina. Manfaat lebih jauh lagi, sinergi ini akan menjadi landasan amal sholeh bagi kita semua yang terlibat didalamnya.

Secara simbolis bantuan diterima oleh Ust. Ahmad Shonhaji selaku Direktur Dakwah, Budaya dan Pelayan Masyarakat. Dalam sambutannya, beliau memberikan apresiasi yang setinggi-tingginya atas kolaborasi dan sinergi PBMTI-LAZIS MKU dengan Dompet Dhuafa. Ambulans persembahan PBMTI-LAZIS MKU dan Dompet Dhuafa insyaaAllah akan disalurkan pada Rumah Sakit Kamal Adwan yang berlokasi di Gaza utara.

Sejak tahun 2009, Dompet Dhuafa telah menyalurkan berbagai aksi kemanusiaan untuk masyarakat Palestina. Di antaranya, revitalisasi pabrik roti yang memproduksi sekitar 10 ribu roti per harinya, instalasi sumber air bersih pada tahun 2010, mendirikan Gaza Foodbank yang sejak tahun 2013, serta School for Gaza untuk anak-anak terdampak konflik pada tahun 2014. Dan pada tahun 2015 serta tahun ini, program Tebar Hewan Kurban (THK) juga menyentuh saudara-saudara Palestina.
