KACARANEWS.COM, JAKARTA – Menghadapi New Normal, pemerintah pusat terus mengeluarkan berbagai kebijakan untuk mengantisipasi gejolak perekonomian. Terutama  dalam hal pasokan pangan, agar tetap terjaga dan terjangkau oleh masyarakat.

Akademisi FEB Universitas Indonesia, Teguh Dartanto mengatakan, untuk masalah pertanian hingga saat ini Kementerian Pertanian telah menjalankan perannya dengan baik. Terbukti stok pangan telah dipastikan aman hingga Desember 2020 mendatang.

“Saya lihat hingga saat ini, untuk sektor Pertanian tidak mengalami hambatan. Hanya, peternakan seperti ayam dan telur harganya sempat fluktuatif sekarang mulai membaik,” Ucap Teguh saat dihubungi Minggu, 28 Juni 2020.

Teguh menuturkan, permasalahan harga pangan kemungkinan akan terus mengalami perubahan (turun naik) meskipun, telah memasuki new normal. Menurut dia, yang perlu dicermati adalah perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang pertanian maupun peternakan belum bisa bertahan, setelah diterpa dampak Pandemi Covid19.

“Memang harga bisa saja turun, tapi tidak senormal seperti sebelum Pandemi. Oleh sebab itu, kapasitas produksi harus bisa mengimbangi,” tuturnya.

Menurut dia, di sinilah fungsi Kementan dilihat yang bertugas mempertahankan produksi pangan dan menjamin perusahan – perusahaan yang bergerak di sektor pertanian tidak koleps, sedangkan Kementerian Perdagangan mengatur alur distribusi sehingga harga tidak terlalu jatuh atau melambung tinggi.

Selanjutnya, harus ada solusi bagi UMKM dan pengusaha kecil yang berkecimpung dalam sentra produksi pangan lokal. Pasalnya, dari sudut pandang Teguh, insentif yang diberikan belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal.

“Stimulus harus digunakan, secara maksimal. Dengan pendataan yang valid dari Kementan, tentunya bisa menjadi acuan bagi Kemendag dalam penyaluran stimulus tersebut sehingga tepat sasaran,” pungkasnya.
