KATACARA, JAKARTA– Fakta membuktikan produk pertanian menjadi sektor penopang ekonomi terbaik saat ini. Salah satu subsektor yang turut berkontribusi adalah buah dan sayuran, terlihat dari peningkatan permintaan terhadap produk hortikultura tersebut. Menteri Pertanian Syahrul Yasin Limpo menaruh perhatian yang besar pada kedua jenis komoditas ini dan terus mendorong buah dan sayur sebagai penguat perekonomian rumah tangga.

Kampanye cinta buah dan sayur nusantara sebagai penopang imun alami dinilai berhasil. Meningkatnya peningkatan buah dan sayur ini menarik perhatian pelaku bisnis dan petani. Berkurangnya buah impor justru menjadi momen tepat bagi buah lokal menaiki panggung.

Sejak didirikan empat tahun lalu, Kontak Bisnis Hortikultura Indonesia (KBHI) menjadi jembatan bagi petani dan konsumen. Banyak informasi produk hortikultura unggulan berkualitas dari petani yang belum diketahui pasar. Kehadiran KBHI memberikan peluang bisnis para petani. Bersama dengan Ditjen Hortikultura diharapkan mampu terjalin pertukaran informasi dan kerja sama kemitraan antar pelaku usaha terutama dalam hal menjaga kontinuitas pasokan dan kualitas.

Direktur Pengolahan dan Pemasaran Hasil Hortikultura, Bambang Sugiharto menyampaikan bahwa pengembangan pasar pada era digital, baik petani dan pelaku usaha diharapkan sudah dapat beradaptasi melalui pasar online.

“Ditjen Hortikultura sendiri memiliki kanal http://hortitraderoom.com dan aplikasi Indonesia Map of Fruit Center (IMofc) yang dapat diakses bebas biaya. Khusus I-Mofc dapat diunduh melalui telepon genggam. Aplikasi tersebut dapat dimanfaatkan oleh buyer maupun supplier sehingga informasi dan transaksi perdagangan yang menguntungkan. Pun dapat menjaring kerja sama dengan KBHI untuk saling melengkapi dan menyempurnakan data hortikultura secara nasional,” jelas Bambang.

Di sisi lain, Kabupaten Banyuwangi adalah Kabupaten di Indonesia yang mampu mengendalikan inflasi. Kabupaten ini mampu menurunkan angka kemiskinan dari 40% menjadi 7,2% dan berkembangnya buah lokal seperti buah naga, mangga, pisang, durian dan olahannya termasuk berkembangnya UMKM.

“Kami sering melakukan event atau festival tahunan yang menarik perhatian wisatawan domestik dan internasional. Kami memiliki daya tarik tersendiri terhadap produk yang ditawarkan. Forum bisnis bersama Kontak Bisnis Hortikultura Indonesia berikut dukungan pemerintah diharapkan mampu mengembangkan kawasan hortikultura di Kabupaten Banyuwangi,” ujar Kepala Dinas Pertanian dan Pangan Kabupaten Banyuwangi, Arief Setiawan beberapa waktu lalu.

Ketua KBHI Ilud Maulud, menyampaikan bahwa anggota KBHI saling menjalin kerja yang menguntungkan satu sama lain. KBHI menyatakan siap membantu untuk bekerja sama dan bersinergi dengan dinas pertanian sesuai dengan potensi dan keunggulan masing-masing daerah.

“Semua potensi komoditas yang belum tergarap dengan baik seperti pisang kayu, pisang lempeneng, pisang raja, pisang kepok merah, durian merah dan nangka merah serta produk lainnya. KBHI adalah mitra pemerintah yang siap mendukung program dan kegiatan yang dikembangkan oleh Ditjen Hortikultura Kementan,” ujar Ilud.

Sementara Ketua II KBHI, Jodi H Iswanto menyebutkan KBHI sebagai forum silaturahmi juga sharing informasi antar pelaku usaha hortikultura.

“Diharapkan dapat menjawab permasalahan yang dihadapi anggota KBHI dan pelaku usaha hortikultura. Ke depan diharapkan banyak petani milenial yang terlibat dalam membangkitkan dan membangun usaha pertanian sebagai upaya berkelanjutan,” ujarnya.

Para petani juga turut berharap hasil tani juga dapat diserap oleh KBHI. Terutama dengan adanya bantuan pemerintah sebagai stimulan.

“Kami tentunya berharap produk kami dapat diserap dan dipasarkan oleh KBHI sebagai penopangnya. Kami juga meminta dukungan promosi dan pemasaran produk organik kami terutama produk ramah lingkungan yang telah dihasilkan,” ujar Rukiyan.
