KATACARA, MAKASSAR – Menteri Pertanian (Mentan) Syahrul Yasin Limpo menyampaikan pesan sehat kepada warga Panakkukang yang sedang berolahraga senam sehat di lapangan utama Taman Pakui Sayang, Kota Makassar, Sulawesi Selatan. Mentan meminta kegiatan tersebut dijaga dengan baik untuk menguatkan imun tubuh di tengah ancaman pandemi Covid 19 yang masih berlangsung.

“Selain makan-makanan sehat, olahraga juga penting untuk dilakukan. Namun saya berpesan, agar olahraga warga dilakukan dengan memakai masker dan tetap menjaga jarak aman,” ujar Mentan, Minggu, 21 Maret 2021.

Mentan mengatakan, olahraga semacam ini rutin ia lakukan sejak dulu, terutama disaat waktu luang bekerja. Bahkan ia mengaku mampu memutari 10 putaran jogging track sepanjang 860 meter. Kemudian dilanjutkan dengan sit up, push up dan back up.

“Alhamdulillah ini olahrahga murah yang selalu saya lakukan sejak dulu. Hari ini saja saya melakukan 10 putaran dan melakukan senam ringan sekitar 30 menit. Insyaallah kita semua diberi kesehatan dan kebugaran,” katanya.

Mentan berharap, upaya sehat ini dapat juga rutin diikuti oleh seluruh satuan kerja di Kementerian Pertanian (Kementan). Dengan begitu, perlahan tapi pasti, penularan pandemi Covid 19 bisa dilawan secara masif.

“Sekali lagi, pesannya adalah Makan yang sehat dan olahraga yang rutin. Jangan lupa kita harus tetap bahagia, meski terdapat banyak kesulitan. Insyaallah Ridho Allah bersama kita,” tutupnya.

Di lokasi, kehadiran Mentan disambut warga yang menyambutnya penuh antusias. Mereka bahkan tak segan meminta foto dan saling menyapa. Meski begitu, warga diminta untuk menjaga jarak dan menggunakan masker secara tertib.
