Ini Cara Atasi Banjir di Pa’bundukang Takalar

KATACARA, TAKALAR– Mengatasi bencana langganan banjir menahun bagi warga di Lingkungan Ana’Aong Kelurahan Pa’bundukang, Polongbangkeng Selatan, Takalar maka sangat dibutuhkan saluran irigasi pembuangan dan cekdam.

Demikian ditegaskan Kepala Wilayah Kelurahan Pa’bundukang Takalar, Muh Kasim, SE kepada media, Ahad (27/12/2020).

Dijelaskan, kehadiran irigasi pembuangan dan cekdam di Sungai Pappa yang mengalir di lokasi banjir itu sudah sangat mendesak, agar langganan banjir tahunan itu sudah tidak terjadi lagi, kata salah seorang cucu Pejuang Polongbangkeng, Basullu Daeng Lawa dikenal sebagai algojo Polongbangkeng ini.

Banjir tahunan kali ini, karena curah hujan yang cukup tinggi pada pekan keempat Desember 2020, kembali Sungai Pappa meluap dan merendam pemukiman dan lahan pertanian warga di Lingkungan Ana’Aong,
Pa’bundukang, tegas mantan Sekretaris Lurah Sombalabella Kecamatan Pattallassang 2016.

Puncak banjir di sepanjang daerah yang dilewati aliran Sungai Pappa ini terjadi Sabtu-Senin (19-21/12/2020).

Pada wilayah terparah direndam banjir, tinggi permukaan air di pemukiman penduduk mencapai 1 meter.

Selama tiga hari itu sebanyak 125 jiwa warga masyarakat Ana’Aong Kelurahan Pa’bundukang, terisolasi dari dunia luar karena lokasi tempat tinggal mereka laksana lautan luas, tegas Mahasiswa Magister Manajemen STIE Nobel Indonesia ini.

Banjir kali ini juga merendam seluar 25 ha lahan pertanian tanaman padi warga. Kondisi demikian menyebabkan kerugian pada kerusakan bibit tanamanan padi dengan kerugian ditaksir mencapai ratusan juta rupiah.

Selain itu infrastuktur jalan masuk ke lokasi itu juga mengalami kerusakan parah berlumpur dan butuh waktu lama baru dapat dilewati kendaraan roda dua dan empat, kata pria kelahiran Moncongkomba Takalar 1 Mei 1981.

Kerusakan juga dialami warga yang rumah tempat tinggalnya terendam air banjir beberapa hari, perabot rumah tangga serta rumah tempat tinggal tentu mengalami kerusakan.

Sejumlah pihak telah datang mengunjungi lokasi banjir termasuk anggota DPR RI Fraksi Partai Golkar, Hamka B Kadi, berjanji akan memperbaiki jalur jalan masuk di kelurahan itu agar tidak terisolir dari banjir.

Para pejabat dan pihak berkompoten dengan bencana banjir yang juga sudah datang meninjau adalah, Tagana Dinas Sosial Provinsi Sulsel dan
BPBD Kabupaten Takalar, tandas mantan Ketua HMI dan Hipermata Komisariat STIE Amkop Makassar.

Para warga terdampak banjir itu menanti kehadiran para wakil rakyat dari Kabupaten Takalar dan anggota DPRD Sulsel dari daerah pemilihan Takalar, katanya.
