KATACARA, MAKASSAR–Peringatan hari ibu yang jatuh pada Selasa, 22 Desember 2020 ini memiliki makna serta spirit baru bagi Reza Amalia (22 tahun), seorang calon karyawan pimpinan Perkebunan Nusantara Group yang meniti karir di Kota Makassar. Gadis asal Bandung ini, merasa ada yang berbeda dari status mahasiswa ke karyawan. Ada etos kerja yang diembannya.

Semangat untuk berkarir dan berkarya di perusahaan berlabel Badan Usaha Milik Negara (BUMN) tidak menyurutkan target yang ingin diraih. Dibuktikan, Dia berhasil melewati enam tahapan seleksi hingga nanti akan menjadi seorang karyawan pimpinan. Salah-satunya Forum Group Discussion dengan menggunakan Bahasa Inggris. Amel berhasil mengalahkan ratusan pendaftar.

Hari ibu, kata Amel, berarti semangat besar yang tidak boleh pudar oleh berbagai dinamika dan tantangan jaman untuk buat bangga keluarga. Dia juga bersyukur penempatan di Makassar, karena makanan khas Makassar yang identik dan enak.

“Kita sebagai perempuan jangan takut untuk mengambil langkah. Jangan takut untuk meniti karir kita, karena saat ini semakin besar. Peluang kita sebagai perempuan untuk menjadi seorang pemimpin terbuka lebar. Ini juga saling menginsipirasi. Tapi, inini paling penting makanannya enak-enak,” tegas Amel, Selasa (22/12/2020).

Amel sapaan akrabnya. Dia beranggapan menjadi seorang perempuan harus saling support dan penggerak mata rantai perekonomian negeri dari hal kecil dulu. Dia berharap makin banyak women leader di bidang perkebunaaan di masa depan.

“Kita harus empowering each other dan saling mensupport agar ke depannya sudah ada rasa  percaya diri untuk melangkah lebih jauh lagi untuk kemajuan negeri. Sesama perempuan tidak boleh saling menjatuhkan harus saling memotivasi dan membangkitkan semangat,” ujarnya, Selasa (22/12/2020).

Bertepatan Webinar Perkebunan Nusantara Group yang bertema The Sounds of Women Planters Leader yang diikuti oleh Amel. Kegiatan tersebut ini merupakan talkshow dengan menghadirkan pemimpin perempuan. Arie Yuriwin, Komisaris PT. Perkebunan Nusantara III Persero dan juga Siwi Peni sebagai Direktur PT. Perkebunan Nusantara VII.

“Terus berkarya, menginspirasi, menjadi panutan dan memotivasi sekitar kita. Langkah kecilmu menentukan masa depanmu”, kata Arie Yuriwin, Selasa (22/12/2020).

Siwi Peni memberi motivasi pola pikir semua peserta webinar. Dia juga memberikan tips menjadi pemimpin perempuan yang tangguh.

“Hidup itu bisa kita design, pilih dan hadapi. Harus bisa memimpin diri sendiri dan bertanggung jawab pada dirinya sendiri. Paling penting setiap langkah yang kita ambil terus berdoa,” tandas Siwi Peni saat jadi pembicara kedua, Selasa (22/12/2020).
