Terapi karena jaringan internet yang susah dan sulit dijangkau, akibatnya untuk melakukan pembelajaran online seperti video call tidak dapat dilakukan secara maksimal.

Melihat realitas tersebut, 3 mahasiswa Fisip Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar, yakni: Muh Ikhsan Alfarabi, Irahmatang, dan Deawansa Masrawi, berinisiatif membuat program pengabdian kepada masyarakat.

Salah satu programnya adalah mengajar secara door-to-door (dari pintu ke pintu) dengan tetap mengikuti protokol kesehatan.

Para mahasiswa ini adalah kelompok dari peserta mata kuliah di Prodi Ilmu Administrasi Negara, Participatory Action Research (PAR) dengan membuat program pengabdian masyarakat dengan mengusung tema, “Optimalisasi Pembelajaran Jarak Jauh Di tengah Pandemi Covid-19”

Program pengabdian masyarakat yang mahasiswa ini dilaksanakan pada, 12/11/2020 selama satu bulan penuh.

Melalui program ini, mahasiswa mendapat kesempatan mengabdikan dirinya dan memberikan manfaat kepada masyarakat.

Tujuan membuat program ini adalah untuk membantu siswa-siswi SDN 253 Maccini Baji mereka bisa tetap belajar di tengah kondisi krisis seperti sekarang ini”, ujar Muh Ikhsan Alfarabi salah satu mahasiswa anggota kelompok PAR Unismuh.

Program door-to-door learning dilaksanakan dengan mengumpulkan anak-anak SD di satu rumah dengan jumlah maksimal 5-6 anak.

Dengan demikian, pembelajaran dapat dijalankan tanpa harus membuat kerumunan dengan jumlah yang besar.
