KATACARA, MAKASSAR– Mahasiswa semester V dan VII Prodi Ilmu Komunikasi Fisip Unismuh Makassar melakukan kuliah kerja praktek jadi reporter dan penyiar radio di Lembaga Penyiaran Publik Radio Republik Indonesia (LPP RRI) Makassar.

Para mahasiswa ini ikut Program Magang Belajar Merdeka Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) selama tiga bulan mulai Oktober 2000 dan ditarik masuk kampus Januari 2021.

Sedangkan kuliah Magang Intrenship, mulai 14 Januari 2021 sampai dengan akhir Pebruari 2021.

Penarikan mahasiswa program Magang Kampus Merdeka secara resmi masuk kampus, Kamis 14 Januari 2021, di ruang kerja Kepala Bagian Tata Usaha, Drs H Rannu,
didampingi, dari seksi Layanan Umum, Hj. Jusrah Kadoeng, S.Sos.

Hadir pada acara penarikan dan pemagangan mahasiswa ini, Ketua Prodi S1 Ilmu Komunikasi Fisip Unismuh Makassar, Dr.H.Muh Tahir, M.Si, Ketua Tim MBKM Ilmu Komunikasi, Dr.Muhammad Yahya, M.Si anggota tim, Syukri, S.Sos, M.Si, Indah Elza Putri, S.Sos, M.Ikom, Staf Humas Unismuh Makassar, Ir. Nasrullah Rahim.

Kepala Bagian Tata Usaha, Drs H Rannu, kesempatan itu mengatakan terima kasih atas kepercayaan diberikan Unismuh Makassar menempatkan mahasiswa program magang praktek jadi reporter dan penyiar radio.

RRI Makassar, senang dan tangan terbuka akan memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam dunia penyiaran radio.

Kepada mahasiswa peserta magang agar tetap memperhatikan protokol kesehatan selama magang, memperhatikan kebersihan dan ketenangan selama dalam proses magang katanya.

Ketua Prodi Ilmu Komunikasi Fisip Unismuh Makassar, Dr. H. Muh Tahir, M.Si kesempatan itu mengatakan, program magang ini bagi mahasiswa secara lebih dini memperkenalkan mereka pada pasar kerja dengan menempatkan magang di LPP RRI Makassar.

Sehingga kalau sudah rampung studi akan memberi banyak pilihan pada dunia kerja industri komunikasi, kata magister komunikasi PPs-Unhas ini.

Hal sama juga ditambahkan Dosen Komunikasi Unismuh Makassar, Syukri, S.Sos, M.Si, program magang ini bertujuan mendekatkan mahasiswa pada pasar kerja sehingga kalau sudah selesai studi alumni komunikasi ini betul betul jadi sarjana siap kerja dan menciptakan lapangan kerja, tegas Ketua Stikom Muhammadiyah Jayapura pada masanya ini.

Selama masa magang pada industri komunikasi mahasiswa akan mengamati langsung bagaimana pengolahan manajemen media massa, proses kreatif dalam membuat narasi dan konten berita serta iklan, ungkap kandidat doktor komunikasi PPs-Universitas Padjajaran Bandung ini.
