Jusuf Kalla Hadiri Tudang Sipulung Virtual Dies Natalis Fisip Unhas

KATACARA, MAKASSAR– Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik (FISIP) Universitas Hasanuddin merayakan puncak Dies Natalis ke-60. Tema yang diangkat adalah “Digitalisasi dan Inovasi Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik Melalui Pendidikan, Penelitian dan Pengabdian Masyarakat di Era New Normal”. Acara puncak ditandai dengan tudang sipulung dan reuni akbar, berlangsung mulai pukul 12.00 Wita secara virtual melalui aplikasi zoom meeting, Sabtu (20/02).

Ketua Umum IKA Unhas, Dr.(Hc). Drs. M. Jusuf Kalla, dalam sambutannya memberikan penghargaan dan apresiasi terhadap penyelenggaraan Dies Natalis ke-60 Fisip Unhas. Di usia saat ini telah menunjukkan perjalanan panjang FISIP Unhas dalam menghasilkan luaran terbaik yang memiliki kontribusi terhadap pembangunan bangsa.

“FISIP memiliki andil penting utamanya dalam bidang sosial politik. Kedudukan politik yang bersosial dengan pola kemasyarakatan yang memperhatikan kesejahteraan rakyat. Untuk itu, diharapkan lulusan FISIP Unhas bisa semakin berkiprah dan meningkatkan eksistensi diri dalam mempelopori dunia politik kemasyarakatan jangka panjang,” kata Jusuf Kalla.

Sementara itu, Ketua IKA Fisip Unhas A. Fahsar Mahdin Padjalangi (yang juga menjabat sebagai Bupati Bone) dalam sambutannya menyampaikan terima kasih kepada seluruh alumni atas keterlibatan dan dukungan menyukseskan perayaan Dies Natalis. Meskipun dilakukan berbeda dari tahun sebelumnya, namun dirinya berharap tidak mengurangi makna.

“Kami juga apresiasi terhadap panitia penyelenggara yang mempersiapkan kegiatan ini. Tudang sipulung maupun reuni akbar bukan hanya untuk mempererat silaturahmi, juga dimaksudkan agar menjadi wadah meningkatkan kreatifitas dan menjadi icon FISIP Unhas yang berkiprah untuk masyarakat luas,” jelas Fahsar.

Pada kesempatan yang sama, Dekan FISIP Unhas Prof. Dr. Armin, M.Si., memberikan gambaran capaian Fisip Unhas diusia ke-60. Beliau menuturkan saat ini seluruh program sarjana telah terakreditasi A dan dua diantaranya juga memperoleh pengakuan internasional. Saat ini, juga dilakukan persiapan untuk pembukaan prodi S3 Ilmu Politik Unhas.

“Kita berharap kedepan, Fisip Unhas bisa semakin melahirkan lulusan terbaik yang tidak hanya cerdas secara kognitif. Namun, juga memiliki karakter sebagai satu penguatan dalam menghadirkan demokrasi di Indonesia. Banyak alumni FISIP yang berperan di tengah masyarakat dan menjadi contoh pimpinan teladan. Saya bangga bisa menjadi bagian dari Sospol,” ungkap Prof Dwia.

Kegiatan perayaan puncak Dies Natalis ke-60 FISIP Unhas dibuka secara resmi oleh Gubernur Sulawesi Selatan, Prof. Dr. Ir. H. M. Nurdin Abdullah, M.Agr. Dalam sambutan pembukaannya, Gubernur berharap FISIP Unhas dapat terus berperan aktif dalam membangun masa depan bangsa dengan karya dan kreativitas.

“Saya menaruh harapan, FISIP Unhas dapat terus memacu semangat untuk menjadi fakultas unggul yang mencetak lulusan terbaik di Sulsel secara khusus dan Indonesia secara umum. Peran FISIP sangat penting dan strategis, sebagai dapur kebijakan dalam bidang sosial politik yang berdampak pada masyarakat,” kata Nurdin.

Acara tudang sipulung dihadiri oleh sekitar 400 sivitas akademika dan alumni yang berasal dari berbagai wilayah di Indonesia. Hadir pula empat Kepala Daerah di Sulawesi Selatan yang baru terpilih pada Pilkada Serentak 2020, yang merupakan alumni FISIP Unhas.(*/mir)
