KATACARA, MAKASSAR– Rektor Unhas, Prof. Dr. Dwia Aries Tina Pulubuhu, MA., bersama para Rektor PTN-BH seluruh Indonesia menghadiri rapat koordinasi bersama Menteri Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi (Mendikbud Ristek), Nadiem Anwar Makarim, B.A., M.B.A.

Rapat berlangsung pada Rabu (05/05) mulai pukul 09.00 Wita melalui aplikasi Zoom Meeting.

Mengawali kegiatan, Nadiem Makarim menjelaskan empat prinsip hilirisasi di bidang pendidikan. Menurutnya empat prinsip tersebut memuat penentuan skala prioritas, deregulasi, dukungan pemerintah serta kombinasi peneliti dan pengusaha.

“Hilirisasi pada bidang pendidikan merupakan arahan langsung dari Bapak Presiden guna menciptakan produk bidang pendidikan yang dapat digunakan secara luas,” kata Nadiem.

Dalam kesempatan tersebut, Prof Dwia memaparkan berbagai capaian Unhas, terutama dalam bidang riset dan inovasi. Unhas terus berkomitmen melakukan berbagai upaya untuk meningkatkan kualitas riset dan inovasi, sekaligus penerapan metode kampus merdeka sesuai arahan kementerian.

Tidak hanya itu, sejumlah kebijakan juga dikeluarkan dengan tujuan mendorong para peneliti Unhas untuk terus mengembangkan riset dan inovasi.

“Saat ini terdapat 281 produk inovasi yang dimiliki Unhas. Sementara itu, ada 67 produk potensial untuk dihilirisasi. Capaian HKI Unhas juga terus meningkat signifikan. Ada 321 HKI di tahun 2020, baik berupa paten, hak cipta, merek dan desain industri. Dengan berbagai capaian tersebut, Unhas mengambil langkah maju menghadirkan Science Techno Park agar  terus berperan sebagai pelopor penghiliran hasil riset unggul,” ungkap Prof. Dwia.

Rapat ini juga mendengarkan berbagai pandangan dari PTN-BH dan mendiskusikan isu strategis untuk hilirisasi produk inovasi.(*/mir)
