KATACARA, MAKASSAR– Dua dosen Prodi Pendidikan Bahasa Arab (PBA) Fakultas Agama Islam (FAI) Unismuh Makassar Menggelobal dengan terdaftar jadi anggota Perkumpulan Pengajar Internasional Bahasa Arab, IAAT (Internasional Assosiciation of Arabic Teachers) Al-Jam’iyyah Addauliyyah limu’allimil lughah Al-arabiyyah, berbasis di London Inggeris.

Kedua dosen itu adalah Nur Fadilah Amin dan Muhammad Ibrahim, keduanya Ketua dan sekretaris Prodi PBA.

kepada media, Rabu (23/12/2020), menuturkan bahwa, hal ini merupakan salah satu prestasi internasional telah dicapai. Dia berharap, PBA mampu berbuat lebih banyak untuk meningkatkan kualitasnya.

“Saya berharap para dosen PBA yang lain juga bisa mendaftar dalam perkumpulan tersebut. Keikutsertaan ini bisa jadi pintu bagi Prodi PBA berkiprah di dunia internasional dan bisa berkolaborasi dengan dosen ataupun prodi bahasa Arab yang ada d luar negeri,” ungkap Nur Fadilah.

Sekprodi PBA, Ibrahim menambahkan, Asosiasi Internasional Pengajar Bahasa Arab memberikan salam terbaik, merupakan keanggotaan sementara yang diakhiri dengan pertemuan pertama Sidang Umum dan nominasi Dewan Direksi dan Manajemen Eksekutif, dijadwalkan diadakan 2021.

“Ada banyak harapan atas prestasi ini, semoga dapat membawa Prodi PBA melangkah lebih jauh ke depan. Kami punya banyak cita-cita, dengan adanya kartu ini, kami harap satu demi satu cita-cita kami dapat tergapai,” tutur Muhammad Ibrahim.
