KATACARA, JAKARTA, – Pandemi COVID-19 yang telah berlangsung selama lebih dari satu tahun memiliki dampak luas bagi seluruh bidang termasuk pendidikan tinggi. Terutama, dalam kaitannya terhadap akselerasi pemanfaatan teknologi untuk pembelajaran. Berdasarkan data dari Kemendikbud, sejak dikeluarkannya Surat Edaran Nomor 3 Tahun 2020 tentang Pencegahan Covid-19 Pada Satuan Pendidikan, tercatat lebih dari 4.000 institusi pendidikan tinggi di Indonesia, 7 juta mahasiswa dan 300.000 dosen mulai menggunakan dan mengembangkan Learning Management System (LMS) berbasis gawai.

Rektor Universitas Pertamina, Akhmaloka, mengatakan peralihan ini akan membuka cakrawala baru bagi dunia pendidikan tinggi. Metode pembelajaran semakin bervariasi. Para dosen dan mahasiswa menjadi individu yang lebih adaptif, inovatif, dan kreatif. “Mereka diharuskan memiliki literasi digital yang mumpuni. Sehingga, akan terbiasa untuk menuntut ilmu di mana saja dan melalui media pembelajaran digital apa saja, misalnya melalui seminar daring,” sambungnya.

Di masa pandemi COVID-19, Universitas Pertamina telah menyelenggarakan 32 kali seminar daring dengan menghadirkan 75 pembicara terhitung 20 Maret sampai dengan 14 Desember 2020. Atas prestasi tersebut, Museum Rekor-Dunia Indonesia (MURI) menganugerahkan penghargaan kepada Universitas Pertamina sebagai Perguruan Tinggi Swasta yang menyelenggarakan seri webinar (web-seminar) terbanyak selama pandemi COVID-19 Tahun 2020.

Jaya Suprana, pendiri MURI, menyampaikan kebanggaannya pada universitas yang baru berusia 5 tahun tersebut. Menurutnya, momentum pandemi ini harus menjadi motor penggerak bagi semua pihak, khususnya institusi pendidikan tinggi untuk meningkatkan produktivitas dalam mengembangan iptek berbasis nilai-nilai humaniora. “Hakikatnya, perguruan tinggi berperan sebagai pembentuk watak peradaban bangsa yang bermartabat. Saya harap, dengan pencapaian ini Universitas Pertamina akan senantiasa mengawal para civitas academica untuk terampil mengarungi tantangan zaman,” ungkapnya di acara Dies Natalis ke-5 sekaligus Lustrum ke-1 Universitas Pertamina (01/02).

Wakil Rektor Bidang Penelitian, Pengembangan dan Kerja Sama Universitas Pertamina, Budi W. Soetjipto, mengatakan bahwa prestasi ini diraih atas kerja sama dengan berbagai pihak, khususnya para narasumber yang turut serta menyukseskan webinar. “Kami juga melakukan berbagai kolaborasi dalam penyelenggaraan webinar dengan para mitra diantaranya Forum Rektor Indonesia (FRI), Asosiasi Pemerintah Kota Seluruh Indonesia (APEKSI), Aliansi Perguruan Tinggi Berbasis Badan Usaha Milik Negara (APERTI BUMN), dan Indonesia Strategic Management Society (ISMS),” ungkapnya.

Tema yang dibahas dalam webinar, menurut Budi W. Soetjipto, tidak hanya berfokus pada topik-topik terkait pendidikan. “Kami juga membahas isu teraktual seputar pandemi, misalnya pada webinar COVID-19 during and after the pandemic dengan menghadirkan narasumber dari Kementerian Kesehatan RI, seminar transportasi publik di masa new normal dengan menghadirkan pembicara dari POLDA Metro Jaya, dan seminar mengenai sanitasi di era pandemi, dengan mengundang perwakilan PD PAL Jaya dan Kementerian PUPR RI,” sambungnya.

Sementara itu, sebagai perguruan tinggi yang fokus pada pengembangan bisnis dan teknologi energi, Universitas Pertamina juga rutin melaksanakan seminar dengan topik terkait isu-isu di industri energi. “Kami juga menghadirkan Kepala SKK MIGAS sebagai narasumber pada acara webinar terkait energi baru di masa pasca pandemi. Kemudian, menghadirkan Direktur PT Perusahaan Gas Negara dalam webinar terkait keekonomian harga gas,” lanjutnya.***
